UNICO MVS Mini Home Arcade Machine, 45 Pre-Loaded Classic Games:10 KOF / 5 Metal SLUG / 7 Fatal Fury / 6 Samurai SHODOWN and More, 3.5inch Screen, HDMI and Gamepads Port

Back in the 90's I worked at a store that had a red SNK MVS arcade cabinet. I remember spending my break times playing games on that machine. When I learned there was an MVS themed Neo Geo Mini, I had to order one! For the younger generations, the Neo Geo was a home video game console in the 90's. At the time, The Super NES and Sega Genesis dominated the market, but due to hardware limitations, those consoles had "watered down" versions of arcade games. The Neo Geo featured some faithfully reproduced arcade games. It was like playing the actual arcade games at home! Unfortunately, the Neo Geo was pretty expensive to own back in the 90's. For most of us, it wasn't a system we could afford. Looking at the MVS themed Neo Geo Mini, the machine looks great, and is built well (sturdy). The display is excellent, and the speaker provides a decent amount of sound from such a small device. The system comes with two decals, one to apply around the buttons and joystick, and one for the marquee. The decals have a matte finish, are thick, and look like they will last. There are 45 built in games - I was excited to see one of my favorite fighting game series, The King of Fighters, is fully represented, from '94 to '03. The games are all the Japanese versions, but many can be switched to English in the individual game' settings. For those that don't, you can usually understand how the game is played. If you are familiar with the original Neo Geo home console, the button layout on the Neo Geo mini is slightly different. Still, it didn't take long for me to get used to the newer layout. The system comes with a USB power cord, but like many "mini consoles", you will need to provide your own power brick to plug into an outlet. The console has an earphone jack in case you want to use headphones, and a mini HDMI port if you want to plug the system into an HDTV (HDMI cord not included). I'm pretty happy with the built-in display - I don't think I'll ever hook it up to a TV. The system has two controller ports, so you can use actual controllers (sold separately) instead of the built-in joystick and buttons. I did purchase a controller to connect to the machine. The controller is weighted, and feels like the original Neo Geo controller, but the D-pad doesn't contain micro-switches like the original Neo Geo controller, and as a result is a little "floaty". Still, that doesn't keep me from being able to perform special moves in the built-in fighting games. Very happy to add this to my game collection!

This is a great lil console as well as portable game … it’s just as I remember.. when Neo Geo came out … I absolutely love the 16 Bit plus era of gaming

Nostalgia mini machine. I don't have a giant space to have the full-size arcade cabinet, but I have this running in demo mode inside of my PC case. Doesn't generate a ton of heat, as I accidentally left this on overnight. A must-have for big SNK/Neogeo fans.

Great little system awful shipping. If you are wanting to get this to collect buy from somewhere else there was no outside box just the box it comes in with shipping labels stuck right on them box destroyed

Item is great and I’d highly recommend it for anyone who might be interested in playing classic Neo Neo titles and/or for a collection display, but if you intend to buy this as a collectible be warned that the box will likely be damaged. The first two times I ordered this, Amazon stuck the shipping label right on the box, even after contacting customer service to ask that they do not do so for the second shipment. The third time, I finally got them to put it in an outer package, only for the box to still be damaged through the paper bag. I recommend finding it elsewhere if you want to keep the box as a collector would.

The MVS mini has many of snk's fighting games, that made this a good purchase. The two things that brought this down to four stars is that these are not the arcade games and the text in few of the games was in Japanese. This shipped new and in perfect condition, no problem from ordering from seller.

Erst mal WOW, so eine Maschine hätte ich mir in den 80er Jahren gewünscht...und ich wäre wohl nie mehr nach draußen gegangen... ;-)) Ich hoffe das sie Spaß macht ....denke ich noch so am Anfang. Aber es gibt einiges zu erzählen und mal klar zu stellen weil es hier in dieser Beschreibung einfach nicht richtig rüber kommt. Es gibt viel Licht, aber wenn das der Fall ist, gibt es auch viel Schatten. Als Handheld kann dieses Gerät eigentlich nicht bezeichnet werden, es hat weder Akku noch ein Batteriefach. Das ergibt aber Sinn : es kann durch HDMI auch am TV angeschlossen und mit Joypads bestückt werden, da möchte man dann natürlich nicht das die Batterie leer ist oder der Akku aufgibt. Also alles richtig und gut. Die Beschriftung am Gerät muß selbst vorgenommen werden durch mitgelieferte Sticker. Ja gut, es gibt Leute die das gerne machen und Geschick dafür haben, OK, aber es gibt auch Leute die das nicht gut können, Sticker knicken oder sitzen schief und ab jetzt steigt hier der Frustlevel und es geht weiter. Bei einem solchem Preis was habe ich bis jetzt bekommen ? Kein Akku, keine Beschriftung. Schön das doch tatsächlich die Gebrauchsanweisung auf Deutsch ist . Es gibt Berichte wonach das Gerät die, wie soll ich sagen, die zahmeren, die sagen wir Blutleeren Versionen der Spiele zeigt. Dies ist eindeutig NICHT DER FALL. Die Spiele sind ORIGINALVERSIONEN mit allem was dort auch früher schon drin war. Alles gut. Es geht los, es gibt die Screensprache auch auf Englisch, muß eingestellt werden,nicht wirklich einfach, daß Game erst mal auf Level EASY stellen. Nicht so leicht, nix mit EASY. Aller Anfang ist schwer. OK. Und nach sehr kurzer Zeit ist der Frustlevel schon am Siedepunkt ! Muß das sein ? Was soll das ? Soo viele Geld, kein Akku, keine Beschriftung und keine einzige Chance im EASY LEVEL für Anfänger auch nur ein einziges Mal zu gewinnen !!! WARUM IST DAS SO ? Hallo, ...ich möchte erst mal reinkommen, dafür ist der EASY LEVEL da ! Keine Chance ! Sämtliche Figuren gehen sofort mit ALLEN SPECIALMOVES die es nur gibt in VOLLER HÄRTE auf einen los noch bevor ich überhaupt weiß welche Buttons was bewegen. Dies ist keine Frage des Könnens oder einer Ich-Bin-Besser Mentalität. Ich möchte es doch erst mal lernen....dafür wäre der EASY LEVEL zuständig ! NIX da, keine Chance überhaupt mal was zu lernen, Specialmoves werden nicht erklärt. Bäm Peng Paff macht es und ich liege im Dreck. Wozu gibt es denn ein HARD LEVEL ? Ich fasse mal zusammen : Das hatte ich mir so sicher nicht vorgestellt, mein Frustlevel ist am platzen, kein Akku, keine Beschriftung und keine Möglichkeit mal ins Spiel reinzukommen und das für einen solchen Preis. Gut, das wenigstens nix zensiert ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier nicht zusammen und die Maschine hat mir definitiv keinen Spielspaß sondern nur Frustration gebracht. Ja gut, es wurde sehr schnell geliefert und für die Eigenschaften der Maschine kann der Versender ja nichts. Amazon bietet an und ich wäre mit dem Angebot auch HAPPY gewesen.....wenn soetwas in der Beschreibung gestanden hätte, tat es aber nicht. Dies ist aber nur mein eigener Eindruck, ihr seht das vielleicht ja anders und könnt es besser. Freut euch drüber, aber fragt euch auch mal, ob das so alles richtig ist und so sein muß, ich denke nicht. Ich ziehe hier keinen Stern ab, das Gerät wurde gut und schnell geliefert und funktioniert. Top. Aber zufrieden bin ich so definitiv nicht. Wer soll so damit spielen, wenn er nicht gelassen wird ? Danke sehr fürs lesen Leute.

La máquina está bien casi todos los juegos son de lucha pero no se que cables es el de HDMI que le valga a la máquina porque se los cables que tengo yo ninguno le vale y no puedo conectar a la tv

La selezioni di giochi è ampia e di altissimo livello, con una spesa tutto sommato irrisoria potrete giocare con un parco titoli di grandissimo valore sia storico che commerciale e ludico. È un oggettino bello da vedere e divertente da giocare.

Funciona mientras esté conectado, nostálgico, cuando quieres cambiar de juego debes apagar y prender el juego.
