Previous owner had lost the ignition key
I purchased a 2000 Sportster 883C but the previous owner had lost the key. A new OEM part was over twice the price and I would have had to wait for the registration process to complete before I could get a replacement key. It took me just over half an hour to fit, mainly due having to remove the tank. Instructions were clear and while the wires were not the same color the suggested wiring worked straight off. Very happy as I was able to start the bike sooner and I also have a spare key now.

Needed the nut
I didn’t use the switch, I just needed the nut for my Harley ignition because the old one fell off and this was less expensive than buying just the nut.

Check for compatibility
It was supposed to be a OEM replacement with the barrel key. Unfortunately it was not and I would have to splice into the factory harness because the connection doesn't match the harness connector

Used it to replace a broken ignition switch on a harley sportster.

This is a good kit for your bike.
Take out and replace old parts . Lock replacement. Key switch replacement was easy. Bike is working well. With no problem.

Junk wrong color wires

The colors of the wires are not correct!
It’s solid but color wise incorrect and thread lock is gonna be your best friend lol keys look way too easy to and actually accidentally put my old key same style like it wasn’t the original, but I was accidentally able to turn my ignition on with a little bit of wiggling. It actually fired up My Bike just so you know. But you get paid for
