This is a really nicely packaged and beautiful looking drill. And it might work great for drilling wood and simple tasks. But I bought it to hopefully drill holes through a computer hard drive to destroy it. Unfortunately, this drill, even with a 1/2" Cobalt drill bit, barely scratched the metal surface. Watching some YouTube videos, the video presenters make their drill jobs look like a breeze with their drills. I tried everything with this drill, to drill holes through a hard drive, and forget it. I gave up and just used a hammer instead. I tried every single different setting on the drill and a tough 1/2" Cobalt drill bit. I even tried a smaller drill bit. This drill was a failure for my task of trying to destroy a computer hard drive. But that's in no way to say that this isn't a good drill. It might be perfectly fine in drilling softer materials. But if anyone wants a drill to destroy a computer hard drive of personal information, look elsewhere. This drill isn't for that purpose. A good hammer and a ton of pounding gave me piece of mind in totally destroying my hard drive instead.

Wanted this cordless drill to drill holes in PVC pipe for garden dripline and didn't have electric near by. Did a good job. My son borrowed it to put his TV up on a wall and said it worked good. I have other worx tools and like that thebatteries are interchangeable. Never run out of power in the middle of a job.

I have a ton of drills, but tried this one because it was cheap and goes with my other Worx tools and batteries. I love it. I have a few corded, but hate dragging them out for quick projects. I have a big dewalt battery one, but it's overkill and gets heavy over time. I have my favorite lightweight craftsman nextec 12v, but it struggles driving longer screws unless you predrill. This one nearly matches the size and weight of my favorite craftsman, but is about 50% more powerful. It can drill most anything for basic construction up to 3 inch screws. A perfect combination. I loved Craftsman back in the day for bang for the buck tools. I think these Worx may be my new favorite. Awesome value, I'd highly recommend for typical homeowners. The only thing else I see that could compete for entry/affordable name brand stuff, is Ryobi, which I've never had their stuff last more than a few uses. I banned them in my house. lol.

I was so happy with this tool set I got one for my daughter too. It’s great for around the house. The tote bag makes it easy to carry your tools from room to room.

Drill was great but does not work with UK worx tools as the battery connection is different.
