Tool for what is was designed for
Read numerous reviews on this product and I'm not inclined to purchase based on reviews, but in this particular case, the Swedge seems to work. Not the best tool in the tool-box, but it will work for its intended purpose. Problem? Finding one. They are not new to Camillus' inventory, but certainly not their most available product either. With the design, it is not easy to sharpen, but it doesn't dull that fast either. The length takes a little to get used to, but not a deal breaker. It has a variety of uses and ideal to have one, but if you are looking for your standard EDC or knife, think twice before getting this one. It is, however, a good one to have in one's inventory and will get more use than you think due to its design. A perfect choice to have and place inside your truck or car and have it when you need it. Good sign, good quality, Camillus is good to work with should you need them, and useful.

Great for batoning
I liked this tool for batoning kindling. It works very well and has a very tough edge that it holds very well 10/10

Good as a prybar
Good as a prybar, may be as a rasp. Steel is too soft to be used for cutting - goes dull extremely fast.
