Decent system for filtration
These work well so far. You do need the bag for these & I'm more into personal water purification so drops or tablets for 1 Liter are more of what I use. This is a little different as it filters way more water then I'm used to filtering at one time. It's more for backpacking & camping then travel but works for both. It's a great filtration & purification system but I'll probably use it much less then drops or a water bottle with filter. It's 5 star for what it is.

Lots of work
This is a lot of work to get such a small amount of purified water. In fact, if you were in an emergency situation you would think it wouldn't take much work test it but it does. It also is basically calling for somewhat already clean water which is counterintuitive. I got so lost in the steps that I gave up trying to see if the work is worth the taste of the water. So good luck if you choose this adventure.

This expansion pack for your Puribag is a must have, especially to have extra packets to take with you camping. It brings a replacement carbon filter and 12 P&G purifiers. It’s an affordable set to stock up on supplies. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information.

in a pinch it's good
making car emergency bags for spouse and I and I knew we needed something quick and useful for some hydration bags we had left over that could help if we needed clean water right away. with the small tea canisters we can put on the fire these are good to help with the bacteria enough so then we can boil the water in the canisters. i was glad to get something I can pack inside of these canisters that could last at least two weeks for water supply and these work very well.

great stuff, must have for the outdoor types and anyone in very poor water conditions
If you have any reasonable 'prep' stash or you frequently go off into the woods for extended excursions or you travel to places where good water is just seriously hard to come by, this stuff is a must! It was developed for very bad areas of the world and it should really be something to have on hand if you're going camping/hiking/etc. Every good kit needs some, get it and pray you never actually NEED to use it, but be sure to try it out on a trek sometime to see how well it works.

Puribag Expansion Pack – Essential for Any 72-Hour Kit
I can’t say if this is the best value for these, but if you have a 72-hour kit and don’t have these packets, you’re not really prepared. These packets use a similar technology to municipal water treatment, with a polymer flockant that collects particulates, bacteria, viruses, and anything else that isn’t dissolved, causing them to settle at the bottom. The included filter to strain out the remnants is a great addition. These are also used in third-world countries to make really bad water potable. Follow the instructions, and you’ve got rock-solid stuff. I highly recommend it.

Highly effective. Always have them on hand for canoeing and backcountry camping. I have also used them for demonstrations in my science classes on water purification.
