These things work great! I was concerned about the material quality and general build of the product, as the pictures give the impression that they might be a bit flimsy, however, i was pleasantly surprised as they are exactly the weight and thickness this purpose calls for. They are easy to assemble and have kept that infuriating pigeon from landing on my air conditioner and waking me up ever since I installed them using double stick tape.

Perfect for keeping woodpeckers and other birds from roosting in our newly built metal building. Woodpeckers were attempting to drill into the metal shed with quite a bit of noise. Once these were up, they no longer visited this location.

WEAR EYE PROTECTION, as noted elsewhere. This is not a joke, you could end up with serious eye damage if not careful. These are effective, easy to install, etc.; however, sometimes if you are not holding them tightly enough, they will spring out of the holes into your face or chest or wherever.... One of them bounced off my glasses. Truth is they are a pain to put together, but got to where I could assemble one in 2.5 minutes, so not a great effort or waste of time. Still, being in a hurry, a couple of them were not properly seated before I released them, and Poing! off they went. Note too: To forestall rusting (they claim to be stainless, but the spikes don't look it), I spray painted them after assembly to match the house color. BL: They are almost invisible in the roof rafters and the mourning doves have moved on.... Last, they cut easy enough but you'll need heavy scissors or tinsnips (and that's only for the strip, the wires need wire cutters).

Great product ... design and effectiveness.

Although very lightweight, the PANGCH Bird Spikes are easy to set up and install. I mounted them with double sided tape (not supplied) above my front door entrance. I have had a problem with birds roosting on the trim around the door. You can imagine the mess that was making on the door and the walkway in front of the door! GROSS. Since installation, no birds have been sighted here and the mess (which I cleaned up, of course) has not returned. There are multiple installation options, depending on the specific location. They can be screwed down on metal or wood surfaces, mounted on rails with Zip Ties, or (as I did) use double sided tape. They can also be easily cut to length with a pair of tin snips. NOTE: none of the mounting methods are included. It is up to you to supply the desired mounting material. 5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I would like to start this review describing the product as easy to assemble and install. The material components are of good quality and the assembly is easily adjusted to fit appropriately in the space you desire. Now let’s talk about the effectiveness of the product… Perhaps it’s our geographical location breeding super birds, or perhaps it’s a conspiracy that birds are truly “not birds”, either way, we were defenseless against them. This product was not only unable to repel the evil bestowed upon us, but was compromised and used to serve their mission. We were infiltrated and conquered as if the birds were the spirits of the United States Marines on the Sand of Iwo Jima, this is really the only plausible explanation. Our plea is to manufacture, they need to fix their deficiencies and provide alternate configurations of this product! Perhaps a different model that is equipped with 1000 volt charge, on one that comes with proximity mines, or if you dealing with birds like ours… a model with surface to air artillery. Our efforts have been in vain, we have been beaten and forced into surrender, does the manufacturer not care? Or perhaps they are in allegiance with these creatures!? Are they helping then infiltrate your homes…?

Very good at keeping the birds out where you do not want them. I like birds, but not pooping on my front porch. I have used these at my mother-in-laws home and that was the test. They have stayed out of the carport and they have plenty of other room. They do the job.
