Great product looks really good and have been ordering from Barrington because of their great service, quality product and good pricing.

Good quality wood. It has nice grains, its straight with no warps, and has nice sharp square edges. Ends are sanded but not perfectly smooth, but that is to be expected. Size, as with almost all wood, is slightly smaller so if you are looking for exactly 1 inch by 2 inch, know it isn't. The wood I got is 1 15/16 by 15/16 inches, all the pieces in the box are consistently this size so your not getting random sizes like with some other brands. Over all its a great purchase if you need wood blank for crafts or hobbies.

I use these for carving wands and they work great. And look good too.

Based on some of the reviews and photos my expectations weren't very high. Just received my order last night, every piece of wood was damn near perfect. S4S was clean and every board was straight all the way around.

I was pleased with these boards overall. They are sized correctly and were the stated thickness and length. The were a nice color without a lot of sapwood, and they were at what I would call a typical competitive price. Not a great value but an average value, not too much higher than other sources I have found. They were planed smoothly but one of the boards had a small chip out in it from the planer blades. However, at least one of the boards was slightly bowed which would require jointing and the associated loss of height in using that particular piece. Admittedly, I did not check each individual piece for bowing with a straight edge yet, but I could eyeball the bow in the one while looking at each individual piece. Nevertheless, I am pleased overall and would buy again if I needed this specific size and type of boards for a small project.

Solid wood and in great condition. I made a couple of cutting boards of them and they were beautiful. I'd buy this again.

Excellent quality. I've jointed and planed a lot of wood myself. This was worth the money for the time it saved me. I'd buy it again
