A & D Medical Ua-767f Ua-767f

I bought this for my elderly father to help monitor his blood pressure. I set it up for him and left it with him to use on an ongoing basis. The displays are clear and big enough to make them user friendly for the older generation and there is a good range of functionality if you want to use it for other members of your family or friends. I'm not sure Dad will be able to cope with reviewing historical results or enabling a friend to use it too, but we'll see and this is not a reflection on the machine! I've given it 5 stars as I think it is good quality and I had confidence it would do what is required if properly used.

I purchased this product as it was the same make and model the my GP was using, and if it’s good enough for my GP! Then it’s good enough for me! Also great quality and good price

I was given one on loan from my clinic. When I compared it with a Braun one which I have had for about 18 years the readings were completely different. We checked it with the doctor and the A&D was the accurate one so I promptly sent of for a A&D one and binned the Braun. I find it much easier to use the A&D with the full upper arm pad. No comparison with my old one. I have checked both the A&D from the clinic with the one I have just purchase and they are showing the same readings. Very happy with my purchase.

Accurate for the price .

I have been advised to check my blood pressure so I bought a good standard of monitor, this seems to be fine and gives me accurate readings. My GP has a similar one in his surgery so this gave me confidence in mine.

Bought this as I had to take my BP every day for a few weeks its easy to use and good quality would recommend to anyone who needs one

I had been using an earlier version of this model, the UA-767Plus, for a number of years and had found it very useful so, when it failed (the cuff started to leak causing the results to be inaccurate), I had no hesitation in buying the UA-767F as a replacement. I was not disappointed. The UA-767F is slightly more complex to use than the older model due to the newer model's memory facility but the ability to display the average of the stored readings for each of up to four users is very useful, and the cuff is stiffer to adjust but I don't regard either of these minor niggles enough to deduct any stars from the overall rating.

The title of my review says it all. This unit has proven to do exactly what it says on the box. It is reliable, consistent, accurate and easy to use. The feature of separate memories for up to 4 users is great but the person number indicator is too small for mum and dad. GOOD: -reliable & accurate -easy to use -good cuff size accommodating most people -compact -great value for money compared to comparable units NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS: -Could really benefit from a longer hose -User indicator should be bigger considering many users will tend to be older with not the greatest eyesight -Would be nice to have the power adapter as standard inclusion or even built into the unit
