BOSCAM K2 Wireless Reversing Camera Kit, OEM Rear-View Mirror Monitor, Waterproof Night Vision Reverse Camera

I own and drive a classic MK11 Jaguar which is my pride and joy (sad I know) the view when reversing isn't great in fact it is awful. A big car and a small rear window and old bones don't help. Hence the reason I bought this. I didn't want to replace the drivers mirror so I went for this model which clips over the existing one. The kit was easy enough to fit and as it is Wireless there are no long lengths of wires to hide either. The image is really good and very clear. Although it does drop off at night of course it is still good enough. The only problem I had when fitting it was the image was upside down which was my fault and soon put right. Works really well I am impressed and it takes a lot to impress me.

A nice bit of kit, as excellent picture quality especially at night. Easy to install and use. UPDATE:- I have been using this product for a while now and the only glitch is when it very occasionally picks up a signal from nearby, the camera will display in the mirror but it goes off in seconds once out of range the outside signal. Like most reversing cameras, the lens needs to be adjusted up or down so the red stop line in the mirror corresponds to the required distance of the object behind the vehicle, this takes seconds, especially if a friend can adjust while you reverse. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Installed this into my wife's Ford KA (MK2). Fitted the camera just above the number plate and drilled a small hole to pass the cable through to the other side of the bumper. The camera cable was then brought through an existing grommet into the car and then along to the left hand side where the transmitter is mounted. Spliced into reverse light live in the wiring loom behind a bit of carpet trim and grounded to the body. Excess cable coiled up neat. The screen was hardwired into the fuse box behind the glove box (items for this not included in the kit and bought separately). The system works ok but it is NOT a high definition picture, the advert is outright misleading in this respect. Also the image is a bit overexposed but otherwise this product should help out when reversing.

Bought this camera and had it fitted by the dealership I bought the car from.when you look at the camera everything is on the opposite side,eg bin on my right in the camera it's on the left,parked up engine off,horse trailer went passed and it picked up the camera in the horse trailer,horse was quite happy chewing on his hay.not very happy with it Waste of a lot of money

Ich habe mich nach einigen Recherchen für die Kamera BOSCAM K2 als Rückfahrkamera Set, Drahtlos mit 14.4 cm/4.3" Zoll LCD Farbdisplay entschieden. Für mich war die einfache Montage im Fahrzeug wichtig und das keine aufwendige Kabelverlegung erforderlich ist. Hilfreich waren auch Filmbeiträge, somit ging der Einbau schnell vorran. Das Einparken geht jetzt dank besserer Rücksicht deutlich leichter, auch meine Mutter mit ihren gut 80 J. war begeistert. Da nach einiger Zeit ein dunkler Punkt immer mehr in der Bilddarstellung sichtbar wurde wendete ich mich an den Service, meine Rückfrage wurde von der Servicemitarbeiterein Claudia umgehend und fachkundig beantwortet. Die Ursache lag in der Linse, nachdem eine neu erhaltene Kamera angeschlossen wurde alles top. Ich kann das System als Nachrüstung und den Service nur weiterempfehlen.

Ottimo Kit per ovviare alla mancanza di retrocamera sull' auto. Fornito con tutto quello che serve, consente di installare il tutto in breve tempo, senza passaggio di cavi ed eventuali sorprese finali. Unico inconveniente riscontrato, sulla mia auto, una marcata vibrazione dello specchietto retrovisore, sovrapposto a quello originale, durante la marcia. Problema brillantemente risolto ancorando il tutto, al parabrezza, con due piccoli spessori in plastica, che ne hanno così ripristinato, l'originale stabilità.
