Compact Surge Protector. Slow charge from USB with my Galaxy S9+ (it makes no difference if its plugged in while charging or relying solely on its rechargeable battery. This however may not be the fault of the charger, as Samsung has become very picky with its charge sources, cables, etc. These mobile devices sometimes fail to do a fast charge even with the stock charger and cable... I'm giving this device 5-stars, as it accomplishes what the description said.

Great! Exactly what I needed! Works amazingly and holds battery life for days! I go to school full time and would always struggle to keep my phone charged up on long days, with this I can plug my phone in and keep it all in my jacket pocket.

This outlet cradle is great. The traditional outlets offer 540 joules of surge protection for powering non-USB items. Also, this item increases the number of outlets from 2 to 3. It also has 2 USB ports that offer 12 Watts / 2.4 Amps of power for each port. I've used it to charge my phone, tablet, smart watch, mouse, and GoPro. There is a green light on the item that indicates that it is working and that your devices are protected. It works great and it works quickly. The cradle area on the top is very nice for resting the device that you are charging, with the phone seemingly having the best fit. This item will take up both outlets when used - the bottom will be where this plugs into and the top will be occupied by a plastic prong that stabilizes the item and also likely designed to prevent overloading the outlet. The item also has a screw that you can use to affix the item to the outlet for more stability and sturdiness. I use the screw when I'm at home but if I travel with it, I regularly do not use the screw and the item stays in place. So it's a nice luxury to have but it's not a necessity. Unlike the other options, there is only one way to install this product and it does not swivel. It sticks out from the existing outlet and all the outlets are on the front of the item. However, unless you have limited space in front of the outlet, this shouldn't be a huge problem. I've never had to use it for any Belkin products but Belkin has a pretty nice warranty program for their products. They stand behind what they produce and will rectify any situation that may arise. In summary, a nice wall mount outlet surge protector that allows you to power or charge 5 different items at the same time. Between the quality and the price, this is a great value.
