I have been looking for a good shop chair for the grarge and projects. Tried a few fromm the home centers they did not work well. so I thought id put out a little more to get something more solid. This is it.. Well built. I used it all weekend and was great. the large wheels make rolling easy. I used in my shop to work at a wood bench and roll back and forth betweeneen the bench and saw. Worked great. I all sso used this to wax the car on the door and lower parts. Well worth it, dont wste your money on cheep ones, this is a bit more than others i saw here on line but looked better made and the wheels were bigger. I am a bog guy 6'5" 300LB and this work just find, comfortable

This is very heavy solid and high quality. The center of gravity is such does not tend to tip when you roll it around when you are sitting on it like some of them do. The chair is very comfortable and adjusts up and down easily for working at different heights, which is really handy. If I had to have one complaint it would be that if you have thick rubber mats on your shop floor this doesn't make the transition from the concrete up on to the mat very well.

For my use I struggled with this purchase. What I was really looking for is a sturdy mechanic's seat that would do double duty as a low workbench seat (standard table height). I had been used to, and happy with, the round seat style but the cheap models I had been buying for about a 'Jackson' on-sale from the local Chinese tools store but they all had cheap casters that would give out after a couple of years of hard use. After a caster wore out and sent me flying, I decided to upgrade to something sturdier and purpose built. This chair seems to be very sturdy and very sturdy casters. I almost went with the Dale Adams Tail Bone stool, but these are really really low to the ground and not adjustable, a deal breaker when doubling as a low work bench seat. Fail. What I am not thrilled about is the seat itself. It seems to be made for smaller folks than me and the "back" part seems to start up half way back, if that makes sense. I would have preferred the round style seat. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

Let me tell you folks, my resolution this year buy American Only !. I was searching for a shop chair and read great reviews about t his chair and You can't go wrong with this High Quality American built professional mechani's chair. Love it, takes less than 5 minutes to put together not tool !. Very sturdy, extremely well built , very comfy , i am very happy !! Don't buy cheap Chinese made junk !

In my humble opinion, this is the best roller seat on the market today. It's sturdy, and versatile ,for all your home shop, and even comercial jobs. This is no lightweight cheapo seat. The height adjustment works well, and if you want to, you can change the lift cylinder for a different height, they are available on Amazon.

This is a great rolling stool and you can tell it is quality. I like it when working on my bike and I trough the tools I am using into it. It is well built and has an adjustable height. Heck I will just sit down in it sometimes when I am tired. Check the prices, I think I found it cheaper after I bought it here. Oh and it is made in the USA

Wow, this is much nicer then the $40 roller I was using and recently. Of course, considering the price is over 3x that, it should! The chair is pretty comfortable and the pneumatic adjuster so far works great. Plenty of adjustability for working on my motorcycle or using it at a folding table. The casters seem well made, hopefully those and the pneumatic adjuster last a long time.

This stool was previously available branded as a Craftsman stool and my wife has been using one in her art studio for almost 10 years with never a complaint. I decided it was time to get a nice stool for the shop and after good experience this was my first choice. Very comfortable seat, decent range of height adjustment and stable when rolling around in the garage. Note that leaning to far over it can tilt and dump you, just like any other rolling chair or stool.
