There is sufficient power in the fan to adequately control mild smoke and steam, particularly when the fan is set to its maximum level. After using this product when preparing foods that often filled my apartment with strong fragrances, such as frying fish or creating a hot pot, I noticed a considerable decrease in the lingering odors that were present after the dish was finished being prepared. I am able to simply modify the airflow to suit the food that I am preparing, and the many speed settings give me adaptability. I find that the lower settings are rather quiet, which is ideal for regular cooking when I do not need the highest amount of power. There is a tendency for the noise levels in a small place to become overbearing very fast, which is why I believe that this function is very significant. Additionally, the inclusion of the huge oil collecting cup is a kind touch. It is my opinion that it makes cleaning up a lot simpler since it efficiently gathers any grease particles, hence reducing the amount of buildup that occurs on the fan itself. I have used the range hood for frying, and it seems to perform a decent job of containing the majority of the oil, which contributes to the general cleanliness of the kitchen. In addition to being simple to remove and clean, the aluminum filter that can be detached is also quite handy. My impression is that it makes the maintenance process easy and uncomplicated, particularly considering that it can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

I’m really impressed with this portable range hood. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t take up much space, and works great for small kitchens or indoor cooking. The 3-speed settings give good control, and even on higher speeds it stays relatively quiet. I also like the large oil collection cup and the removable aluminum filter—it makes cleaning simple. For the price, it’s definitely worth it and does exactly what it promises.

I would say this machine works to a certain extent. My opinion is that after a certain amount of time exposed to smokey cooking conditions, it becomes ineffective. I initially tried it with cooking 2 ready to cook steaks on a cast iron grill. The machine did very well, it absorbed probably 90% of the smoke. The issue arose when another family member wanted steak also. I had to take a solid frozen steak and thaw it out with hot water. It was still somewhat frozen which created more smoke. At that point the machine was useless. After cooking. I removed the filter, and I found it was saturated with oil. So my opinion is to have clean absorption filters ready to replace the oily one. The filters can be washed easily with dish washing detergent.

Great compact range hood. The 3-speed fan works efficiently to remove smoke and odors, especially for indoor BBQ or small cooking spaces. It’s easy to use, doesn’t require installation, and the low noise makes it comfortable to use while cooking. The portable design is perfect for apartments or limited spaces. Very practical and worth it.

When the range hood or microwave is it vented to the outside but just circulates the air inside this is a very, very good little machine that works quickly.

Pictures show this as working without it being plugged in and that’s not the case. Very dangerous to use plugged in near the stove

Nice concept, presentation, and material, but I don’t think it works. The suction isn’t strong enough, and with the microfiber filter layer, it becomes even weaker. The apartment still smells after frying while drip tray is dry. Also, the high-speed fan only runs for about 3 minutes before switching back to normal speed — why ( overheated concern? Then it’s not good design)

Ok, so I was sceptical, but I needed something because I do not have a hood in my center island and the steam heat from the pots was uncomfortable. I assembled this (the small filter) plugged it in, and hit turbo! To my utter amazement, it worked! My kitchen began to cool down, and I could see the steam being vented and filtered into the unit. I am extremely harsh with my reviews on products because I order based on reviews, but this one hit a home run. It handled the stock pot without a problem, so it will handle any standard pot. I am really happy with this purchase. I would recommend this item even if you have a hood. It removed the steam and smoke, clean up was a breeze, Fan Speed was spot on, and from what I have seen them in box stores, this is the value for the money. It is a large item, but it seems solid, and the build quality is there.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with a portable range hood, but this little unit has far exceeded my expectations. I do a lot of pan frying and stir-frying in a small kitchen, and the smoke and oil splatter used to be a huge problem. Since using this, I’ve noticed a huge difference in air quality. The fan pulls the smoke directly off the stove and the large oil collection cup actually does its job—I was shocked at how much grease it caught after just a couple of uses. The three speed settings are perfect. On low it’s quiet enough that I can cook and still hold a conversation, but when I need more power (like when searing meat) I just bump it up to high and it clears the air quickly. I also appreciate that the noise never becomes overwhelming, even at the highest setting. Cleaning is easy, too. The detachable aluminum filter comes out without hassle and rinses clean under hot water, and the collection cup is sturdy and simple to wash. Unlike a lot of kitchen gadgets, this one doesn’t feel flimsy—it’s solid, well-built, and designed with real use in mind. I also love how portable it is. I can move it around depending on which counter I’m using, or even take it outside when I’m cooking on a portable burner. For anyone in an apartment, dorm, or small kitchen where installing a full range hood isn’t possible, this is a lifesaver. Overall, this portable range hood has made cooking so much more pleasant—no more lingering smells, less smoke, and my kitchen stays cleaner. Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. Highly recommend!

I found this to be really good for the small size it is. Personally I would say up front if you already have a hood vent or microwave built in hood vent you're not going to get much use out of this. Keep in mind when using this it more so takes away some of the cooking smoke/steam and redirects what's left over once it passes through. With that being said, I have a stove that did not have one and it was really nice using it. It had a lot of power and was able to element most of the smoke, while redirecting the rest towards an open window, or even behind me rather then it building up and ruining my cabinets. I took this camping as well where I found it to be awesome when using my out door stove, I was able to get everything redirected and away from my company while cooking so everyone didn't have to stay clear of the area. The build quality was really nice and solid, something that I took on my travels camping because it was well put together and I had no fears of it breaking in the out doors. It was very powerful both in the intake and out take, I will say it does make a decent amount of noise when being used but as does a normal hood vent. I would recommend this in situations for sure, as if you don't have one installed already or if you're cooking at events and would prefer to redirect it away from guest or key areas. It works really well, extremely powerful, well built, and has a nice design. The one thing I wish it did provide though is a bit more height. I found the angle of the top head to be almost perfect it grabbed everything immediately with out fail, but when using larger pots I felt as if it was a bit to close to the brim of my cookware and I would have to prop it up on something.

Wir haben aktuell keine Möglichkeit eine Dunstabzugshaube in unserer Küche zu installieren. Leider habe ich immer überall Fettablagerungen auf den Flächen, an den Fenstern und auf den Pflanzen. Daher habe ich mir diesen mobile Dunstabzug gekauft. Der Dunstabzug steht stabil und sieht wirklich gut aus. Die Bedienung ist ganz einfach und er verfügt über drei Abzugsstärken. Zusätzlich kann man ein Licht einschalten. Der Filter ist auswaschbar und das Fett wird in einem Behälter gesammelt welcher sich einfach leeren und reinigen lässt. Man sieht richtig wie Dampf und Rauch eingezogen werden. Es ist ein qualitativer verbauter und leistungsstarker Dunstabzug. Ich hätte den Dunstabzug schon viel früher kaufen sollen. Er ist nun im täglichen Einsatz in der Küche und kommt auch am Tisch bei Raclette oder Tischgrill zum Einsatz.
