Unbelievable results for price
We purchased this as a replacement for 7.5 year old Dyson Eye as we couldn'tget replacement battery. The price difference is huge, so we were a little concerned that the Eufy could function anywhere near as well as the (costly) Eye. We've had it for about a month now, and we're very impressed. We have bamboo flooring so suction not an issue. We easily removed the mop so that the mopping function switched off. We don't wear shoes in house, and like to wash floors with specialised cleaning solution. The vacuuming pattern is very efficient; perimeter of room done first, then back and forth across remainder. Goes around pets, or other objects. The app is brilliant. Initially mapping house is much easier than I had imagined. The device scoots into each room, does a bit of a twirl, scans, then produces room layout. It's quite something to watch. You can then name each room, and add No-go Zones (excellent for things like dog biwl area and kitchen bar stools, etc.). You can apply a range of settings for each room, or just let it go. You can also choose which rooms you want cleaned. Cleaning seems to take place in the order selected. Depending on settings, the device pops back to its base station and de-tangles and empties its bin. This is a very noisy process. And finally, unlike the old Eye, this machine gets right into edges with the spinning brush. Brilliant 👏

Impressive cleaning, quiet and easy to use
I’ve used the Eufy Omni S1 for about 8 hours so far, and I’m really impressed. It cleans the floor very well, even in a small house like mine. The mopping performance is even better than I expected, which is a great bonus. The app is easy and intuitive to use. The robot is a little noisy, but honestly, from other reviews I was expecting much more noise. I can watch TV comfortably while it’s hoovering at the lightest power setting. Usually when I set it to maximum power, I prefer to have it clean when I’m not at home, but that’s just because it’s easier. For me, the noise at lower power is not a big deal. Setting it up was a bit challenging for me, as I had to split my Wi-Fi to 2.4GHz to get it connected. I’m not great with technology, but I managed to figure it out in the end. The soap, brushes and dust bag are still in good condition after these first hours of use, which is great. The only small issue I’ve noticed is that the robot doesn’t always get very close to the walls, so a bit of dust might be left along the edges, but nothing major. Also, it would be amazing to be able to adjust a cleaning section from the app even after a session has already started, without needing the robot to return to the station and start over. One more thing to mention is that I have a small metal floor divider between my bathroom and hallway, and unfortunately it seems just a bit too high for the robot to pass over on its own. So for that room, I have to help it manually. Overall, it’s a fantastic cleaning robot and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Brilliant machine
UPDATE AFTER 18 MONTHS: We use this daily and suddenly it's developed a squeak which is annoying, but otherwise good. This has been used every day for an house each day for the last 18 months. We've definitely gotten our money's worth. Just make sure you properly maintain it. Clean the filters regularly, remove the brushes and the front wheel and remove th fluff and dust. It does pick up less than it originally did. I think it'll be where it's just too dusty inside but it still vacuums and collects a full box each day. It does bang in to things though... Original review: There is too much to say about how fantastic this machine is. Considering its competitors costs normally £100 maybe £200 above what the price of this is and they have mixed reviews I'm very pleased that we decided to buy this one at this price. We have two labradors and one ginger tabby cat so you can only imagine the amount of hair and just that is accumulated on a daily basis in our house, and we decided to buy this to reduce the amount of vacuuming that we were doing on a daily basis just to keep under control of all the hair. When you stop hoovering for a day in our house suddenly it becomes an absolutely hairy nightmare all over the place. So other than the price this attracted us to this the reviews also attracted after this as it seems to be quite capable of dealing with the pet hair and with the normal collection of that that you'd get, Plus it also seemed to manage the short carpets we have dotted around the place as well (by the reviews). When I initially opened the box I was slightly sceptical about whether this vacuum cleaner would be alright in our house (we have wooden floors and we have carpets), and I was also sceptical about the functionality of any robot hoover. The package arrived well presented with more than adequate packing which I thought was quite reassuring, and the machine and all of its parts were neatly packed away and looked very clean and tidy and well presented overall. With only been using this machine for a few days, but we have tried all of the different functions that it offers and overall this is a very good machine that I would imagine does exactly what it's higher costing competitors do for a really reasonable amount of money. The remote control is very easy to use and the machine itself is quite easy to use, when you first set it off don't be put off by its seemingly erratic behaviour, it tends to try and find every possible space on the floor in no coherent manner, but if you just leave it then you'll see all is fine. Functionality of this little beauty is quite something, not only can it to spot clean for an area which may have a spillage or a considerable amount of dirt, but it also has a max button for when you get onto carpets and a like. One thing that I will comment on is the need to point the Remote directly at the vacuum cleaner as it does state so in the guide, this is because if you don't certain programs such as the schedule mode will not function and you will be left scratching your head wondering why it hasn't come on. All you need to do is set the time on the remote was pointing at the vacuum cleaner, and make sure you set the schedule whilst pointing the remote at the vacuum cleaner. I've given is for stores overall rather than five because there's just a couple of things which I find a little frustrating, perhaps it is me that is the problem and not the machine value, for example it tends to get stuck in certain places which you would think we're quite easy to avoid such as between some chair legs or between a table and The floor, or apparently on the front door mat . I know that most of these machines will probably get stuck in similar places but for the functionality that it offers I would've thought that getting stuck between two chair legs would not of been an issue and it would have prevented itself from doing so as it's a bit of a tight squeeze to say the least. That said if I had the opportunity to do this whole experience again I would not change my decision on what I purchased and I would still be very satisfied with my purchase overall. If you purchase this machine it will not dissatisfy you and you will be overjoyed with what he's capable of doing. Apologies for any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors, I was using voice to text on the iPhone.

Won't be buying another
So disappointing, worked to start with but with all this new affordable technology, it is underwritten by an app and connectivity that is unreliable at the best of times. I had this sited next to my router and one day the vac lost all its capabilities with network and Bluetooth making set up impossible. I'm glad amazon are able to accept it as a return/refund after only 9 months use. As i paid for insurance this came out totalling £400 and for that money I can buy a top end stick vac that takes up less space (footprint on this vacuum is totally unreasonable) and does the job better. The mapping would constantly save over itself meaning using it multi-floor was a pain in the neck and dont forget you still need the proper hoover out to do the stairs anyway. The mop function was not amazing but a lot of work went into fitting the head and filling it up. Overall I don't think much time or effort was saved using this robot vacuum and therefore the value of it goes out of the window, unless you are only comparing it to other robot vacuums. - Self empty stations need to be designed to fit under sofas or other furniture (Width vs height) - Apps need to be ridded of all uneccessary features and complications (I want a vacuum, other features are unwanted) - Other brands dont need a ramp up to the SES. - Mop needs a total redesign or axeing completely. It doesnt achieve much and is a nuiscance to fit, remove clean, all of the above.

So good, I bought a second one!
Love, love, love this product! Ever since I discovered that robovac's existed, I have wanted one! I always thought that the Roomba was just too expensive, then I discovered this guy. I read some of the reviews on here and I had been thinking about it for a few months, checking back every now and again to read newer reviews. Once I started googling Eufy by name, I was convinced. This robovac gets rave reviews both on Amazon and in general on the web. It is picked as the best Robovac by experts and I have to agree with them. Firstly the price is right for me. Paying £500+ for a robot vacuum just did not scream value to me, and I could never justify it to myself or my other half who was totally against this purchase to start with. I mean, sweeping and hoovering are just so tedious but I love my money and I love getting value even more! Secondly, we have a huge amount of dust in our home. For whatever reason no matter how often we dusted or swept, we would see dust appearing again in a matter of hours. It got to the point where dust bunnies were appearing in our bedroom and the thought of sleeping in that amount of dust just freaked me out. So I finally took the plunge and ordered this guy. I had him in my basket for a few weeks as I like to see if prices go up or down. This guy didn't so I was confident that the price would not drop once I ordered him, and it still has not. He arrived in two days and has transformed our home! He works pretty much out of the box so we spent our first evening just following him around and watching him in amazement. Let me tell you, you will be disgusted by the amount of dust he picks up over the first few days! I was so embarrassed, he would fill up the tray easily. Now we are running him every day and he fills it half full which just shows how much the dust has decreased. Our floors are spotless every evening when we come home from work. We just have to dust once a week and I would easily say there is between 50%-75% less dust in our home if not more. We switch him on and he just works his way around cleaning up as he goes. He is a joy to watch, and has so much personality for a little machine!!! We have also named him and I love to see him come flying over the door ledge. We have not experienced any navigational problems with him yet and every evening we come home he has safely made his way back to his docking station. He manoeuvres from one room to another without any problem, I was worried after reading some reviews that he may get stuck on the lip of our doors but that has not happened and we have not had to manually pick him up to move him at all. I have not tried to set the timer yet, we just switch him on as we need him and I find the remote really handy to change modes. You can focus him on one room, or to just clean the edges of the room which is great for getting along the kitchen cupboards or under our radiators and alongside the bed. There is also a spot clean which was great to collect a pile of dust. As other reviews have said there really is no pattern to how he cleans, he just does his own thing but somehow manages to clean everywhere. I have been leaving little things for him to hoover up as random tests and they are always gone when I come back to them! You do have to be very careful with what you leave on the ground as he will hoover up whatever he can. One problem we have had is that I have long hair which has become tangled in his brushes. This is easily rectified by snipping my hair from the brush and is now something I watch out for. We have hardwood and tile floors throughout our home, with a thin enough rug in our living room. He has no problem getting on to the rug but every now and again the interior designer in him comes out and sometimes he thinks it looks better in another part of the room, which he will have moved it too! I actually find this highly entertaining and his flair for interior design just adds to his personality for me! I would highly recommend this product, I wish I had of bought it sooner. Save yourself the research, this is the one to buy and it is such good value! We do not need to hoover anymore as we run him everyday and have only had the sweeping brush out once or twice since we got him. Our friends and family are so curious about him, we are constantly having visitors dropping in or requesting videos of our new arrival! Do yourself a favour and invest in him, he is worth every penny! And as for the other half, he is now more enamoured with our new friend than I am!

this little trooper is amazing, cat hair is no longer an issue
Ok let me start of by saying that I wasn’t really expecting much from this product as I thought robot vacs were just gimmicky toy but boy was I wrong, this little trooper is amazing, cat hair is no longer an issue, I am not saying that you do not have to hoover in the conventional sense anymore but this has essentially reduced this massively. Pros 1) Thorough, it cleans most corners and is brilliant switching between carpet and hard wood floors. 2) Gets into coroners and cleans places normal hoover would struggle with 3) Entertains the cat for ages 4) Always astonishing how much it picks up even after hovering first (yes I tried that to see if I missing anything ) 5) Can carry at least one moggy in a costume sitting on top of it. Cons 1) Does not climb stairs 2) Sometimes forgets to return home to recharge 3) Have to remind it to focus on problem areas, wish it had sensor that told it problems that need additional TLC 4) I am not sure that it is that smart, I thought it would be a lot better at mapping rooms it has been in before but it seems to wonder drunkenly around (not complaining about the cleaning though) 5) Cat and cat suit not included with the product Overall I would recommend this vac very strongly as it isn’t that expensive (at least way less expensive than a cleaner who are not all that good at keeping the cat entertained), keeps the place nice and clean and is very efficient. I am not certain that the more expensive competitors would add sufficient improvements on the Eufy which is fantastic already. My advice to the company would be please please don’t be tempted to do what most companies do after releasing a great products by following it up with improvements ruin the product, this is already excellent and fairly priced. Putting additional things like GPS and sniper rifle will not improve it and the likely price hike not welcome. Thanks

decent list of features but worried about quality
in terms of features it's a good product with a decent list of features, but I'm worried about quality. This has broken twice since I got it (first time the dirty water holder was not working so they had to send a new one and the second time the water inlet broke so they had to send a whole new robot vacuum), the customer support has been quite good providing replacement part within the warranty but you have to think what will happen once the warranty is over.

Very good robotic vacuum cleaner.
We have had ours for over 2 years now and it is as good as it was the day it arrived. If popping to the shops or busy upstairs for an hour or so, it can be switched on and it will do the entire down stairs rooms to a spotless high standard, in fact, it does as well as if a Dyson V6 has been used in all the rooms. We have carpeted living room by the down stairs toilet, hallway and open plan kitchen diner have ceramic tiles; it does all with no fuss. It picks up large bits as well a fine dust. Our down stairs is not huge, it is a 3 bed end terrace but it takes our little Eufy about 45 minutes. Well, this is how long I leave it going, it probably does the job in much less time but I just leave it on and let it clean and the re-clean. When I hit the home button all the floors and carpets are spotless and the collection compartment is 50-60% full but I empty it every time I switch it on. It is a great gadget that help makes life easier. At first I thought this was going to be a gimmicky product and we would not use it after the first few times but it is a gadget that is used often as we do still use our Dyson as it is not always suitable to use. We have cats that are bemused by it, not scared but they are confused by it so I do not use it when they are around or when they are sleeping down stairs. I also have to say that it is very good at mapping its way around the rooms,it knows how to do the edges and the main floor area, it is good at avoiding obstacles and furniture, etc,. It knows that if it comes up to a wall it will follow the wall and clean right inside the corner between the carpet/tiles and the wall,it is very clever at finding it way around and cleaning the area very well without repeatably cleaning the same spot and knowing what areas have not been done yet. This is all down to the sensors it has but it is very clever in this regard, which is why it is relatively quick at vacuuming a entire room. quick. It has functions which some I do use now an then, on function is that it will start in the middle of a room and then spiral outwards until the while room in done, instead of vacuuming in straight lines, hitting a wall, turning and then vacuuming in a strain line again. I have been lazy and even after two years I have not explored all its functions, I know, it is shameful, but this spiral unctions is one I have used for certain reasons and it works well, I really do need to fully explore what its full potential is but I am not one who likes to sit and explore gadgets and everything special it can do, I just wanted a vacuum cleaner that would clean and the Eufy is perfect, I will explore it in more detail in time but its fundamental function works perfectly and I am happy with it, I will properly be even happier when I realise its full potential. I have owned it for 2 years now and I am only on my 2nd filter and 2nd set of spinning brushes but still using the original roller. The run time has not decreased so the battery is still in optimum condition and it takes the same time to charge so no problems there. It will happily plod a long and vacuum for well over 90 minutes before it beeps and has to return to the docking station to recharge but I have only let it run this long 2-3 times, I always hit the home button before the battery dies/runs low (as the battery has never completely died). One issue I do have with my Eufy is clicking the "home" button. It is so slow and clumsy at finding its docking station automatically it is quicker to just pick it up and place it on the charger, it struggles to find its way home but this is not a major issue. It can just stuck under a table if the table is large and has 6 or more chairs, the legs just keeps the Eufy trying to find its way out from under a table so we place our chairs so it can not get under the table in the first place, if no one is around to help it find its way out. If can get stuck on very low steps like you may find just inside the front door, you then have to help it off the step as the lights will turn red and it will beep to let you know it it stuck but we block this step with our door mat so this does not happen any more. It can also get stuck under low furniture like a sofa, it will manage to squeeze under but then will get stuck trying to get out. Also, before turning it on, we have to make sure there is nothing it can suck up and get tangled on, such as cables, shoe laced, string (cat toys) or any thing like shoe laces and such as it will suck them up and then it become entangled and it will stop, the light will turn red and it will beep to let you know it has an issue but to be honest it only takes 2-3 minutes to make sure the whole of the down stairs has been prepared so it can vacuum without interruption. It does have an auto setting so you can set a time for it to turn on and off and it probably has other features but in 2 years I have not bothered to use this feature and have not bothered to even set the time on the remote. All I do is click "go" and after 30-45minutes when it is all clean I click "stop/Pause", carry it to its docking station and let it charge until I next want to use it, I also do not use it upstairs becuase there is an office where it will just get tangled in all the cables and other mess up there so I only use it for down stairs but it does work upstairs and it has sensors so that it will not fall down the steps. I use my Dyson several times but the Eufy is only used 2-3 times a week. I use the Dyson becuase it is quicker but if I am going shopping or will be away for an hour or so then the Eufy is switched on and when I return home the whole down stairs is spotlessly clean and dust free. Glad I bout it and would recommend. Also, it uses Hepa filters, which is a bonus. Marks out of 10, I would give it an 8, so 8/10 but 5 stars for sure. Very happy with it.
