This is the best compost bin I have tried: - the lid doesn't snag on the compostable bags like some of the other types of compost bins because of the lid design - it doesn't smell - I got the 1.6 gal bin and it is the perfect size for up to 3 people using it regularly and fits the bags you get with produce at the store - it is super easy to clean - The jade green is very pretty I was also specifically looking for a compost bin that has the lid attached so that while i'm meal prepping, I can just flip it back instead of having to take it off. It is suprising how many compost bins lack that simple feature.

This little trash can is really great. I used to use a paper towel cutting veggies and then just pick them up and throw them out. This works out so much better. The plastic bag is already on the container, when full, put another on. I am so glad I saw this. I have it at my sink, but easy to tote around with the handle. It’s sturdy and I think it holds quite a lot for a small pail. I think it is a good value and I bought the bags also and they hold a lot. I recommend this 100%.

I bought this to keep in the fridge for wet trash. It works perfectly. It keeps the smells locked in. I just reuse supermarket bags to line it. It is sturdy for use and easy to clean if anything gets spilt on it. Perfect for what I wanted!

I admit this is likely my fault, but I had expected the lid to snap closed. As it turns out, the part that opens simply rests on the bin. We live in a high rise & take recycling down every few days. We have 4 cats + a dog that all eat wet food, so we go through a lot of cans. The size of this is great for our needs. It holds a good amount, but not so much that it gets really ripe by the time it's full. We can easily wash it in the bathtub if needed since we don't line it with a plastic bag. The handle is comfortable to carry. We've had to hide it in a closet because the cats have figured out to knock it over which scatters cans + lids everywhere. The plastic is nice quality. The appearance is as sleek & neutral as pictured. The green is definitely much more mint green than sage-y. If you're not a fan of mint green, you might want to choose one of the other colors.

Hands down best under-the-sink compost bin for our family of 3 veggie-loving vegetarians. Love the easy-to-open lid, convenient carry-handle, perfect size (we got the small: holds a lot yet not so big as to be too heavy to take out to the compost pile) and easy to clean!

Didn't realize it was shipping from Europe so shipping was a shock when I checked my bill after. The product itself is excellent, well designed and aesthetically pleasing with it's neat fitting cover, handle and wall attachment which is optional. Just too small for my purpose. Can be used other than as a garbage receptacle. Really really neat.

I used to have a small bucket to use as a countertop compost bin. but we adopted a new cat and he likes to go compost bin diving. so had to find something that had a lid and didn't have any bells/whistles and didn't take too much space. This one is very simple. works well, and when closed the cat doesn't express any interest, so it serves the purpose as intended. If he starts prying the lid open, i'll probably have to devise some sort of "lock" (velcro strap, etc). but so far so good, as clearly the cat isn't clever/curious enough to attempt opening the lid yet. plastic is suitably solid and not flimsy. lid doesn't lock but seems to seal well enough. I use with a 2-gal compostable lining. the lid and the top frame (holds the lining in place) does get dirty, but it's easy to just hand wash it. very pleased.

I don't know why every other countertop compost bin has a lid that doesn't completely close or even massive holes where fruit flies can get in and lay their eggs. Gross, gross, gross. This one, in contrast, closes completely, and doesn't have any weird nooks and crannies where the flies can set up their nurseries. It's super easy to clean with a rinse or in the dishwasher (the lid too) and doesn't really retain odors. I also like that it has a little notch in the back where you can tuck the liner bag, if you use one. I got the smaller size and it's plenty big if I empty it every 3-4 days.

It is a nice quality trash bin. Feels premium and a nice shade of green. I appreciate the Lid on it. The lid feels good quality, very smooth moving it up and down. It also came with a set of trash bags.
