Star Trek: Light-and-Sound Borg Cube (RP Minis)

The actual cube is pretty small but for under a £5er, it's amazing. Really accurate sounds & the lights look great, pretty bright. Gave as a gift to a Star Trek fan & he was super stoked with it.

Great little box set containing a Borg Cube and mini book. The cube itself looks great for the price and has a nice plastic stand to slot it into if you want to keep it on display. It has a push button feature which lights up parts of the cube green giving it that authentic space feel. It also comes out with various well know phrases such as "We are the borg, resistance is futile", phaser sounds etc. The book provides a mini history lesson with the Federation and the borg with pictures to illustrate. Good little gift and great value.

This is a fantastic little Borg Cube model, an ideal gift for any Star Trek fan! It features an internal green LED light, four sound clips from The Best of Both Worlds, a sturdy display stand and a small booklet with information on the Borg. This booklet covers the history of the Borg from TNG, First Contact and Voyager with a variety of coloured images. The sculpting and detail of this cube is NOT replicated from the Micro Machines line, it is brand new and eulates the appearance of the cubes as seen in Voyager, personally I prefer the cubes in Voyager. As a life long fan of Trek I would highly recommend this product and I am extremely excited for the forthcoming Next Generation Tricorder released at the end of April!

I'm 45 and I've loved Star Trek for roughly 41 years. I'd sit and watch it with my uncle at my grandmothers house. The Borg always terrified me. I absolutely had to have this when I saw it. I've got the original Star Trek series on Steelbook and the more modern movies boxset and saw all three movies at the cinema with my uncle, he and I have also sat and binge watched all of the older movies. Star Trek over Star Wars anyday haha. Would love to see a mini Tribble made my RP, that'd be awesome 😊 The only small downside is it takes the tiny LR44 Batteries which tend to not last long but at least they are inexpensive. I'm going to get an extra one for my uncle for Christmas, he'll love it.

i have most of the licensed running press kits. from batman to doctor who to star trek! They are all fantastic! this is no exception. sounds are great and loud! the stand is sturdy. the lights are nice and the detail is great! me being the picky collector that i am. it would have been cool to have the lights stay on like they do on the Enterprise and shuttle craft. but that is me being very picky!

Es un artículo indispensable para tu colección de Star Trek. Está hecho el plástico y tiene una base desmontable con el emblema de Star Trek en negro. Usa 3 baterías be botón que duran bastante. La reproducción del cubo Borg está muy lograda con los detalles justos para hacerla muy chula, sin dejar de ser una miniatura de plástico. Tiene un botón en la base que se acciona pulsando y con cada pulsación suena una secuencia de audio distinta (tiene 4 secuencias diferentes), y al mismo tiempo emite la clásica luz verde de los Borg. Muy recomendable.

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this Borg vessel. Originally I used to have a similar sized statuette but that one had no light nor sound and wasn't nearly as detailed. The sound effects are very crisp and clear while the interior lighting is supplied by a single green LED that shines through small cutouts along the cube's surface. The cube itself is 4x4x4cm and takes 3 LR1130 button cell batteries (batteries are included). It also comes with a little booklet that has background information regarding the Enterprise-D and its dealings with the Borg throughout the series with lots of photos. It's a pretty small booklet but has lots of pages. Very fast shipping by Amazon (as usual) and I am very happy with this nice memento from Star Trek TNG.
