It’s amazing that this has such great storage for such a small device. I love it.!!
I purchased this Lacie 2 TB SSD external hard drive to back up my Apple computer using Time Machine! It was so fast and so easy to create the back up I’m thrilled with that. I wish there was an 8 TB SSD hard drive just like it —they’re hard to find!

Works Great with my iMac Photo Library
This is everything I need for my iMac photos. I'm getting ~900MB/sec write speed and ~950MB/sec read speed. Works great and have had no issues re-initializing for the mac and connecting and transferring my photo library which is about 450GB.

LOVE IT!!!
It works (need I say more with technology). AND I was surprised by its teensy size! I've had a LaCie external HD in the past so was expecting this one would be the same size, but it's maybe half the size or smaller. Which is great for transporting it.

Small and fast
You will always pay more for LaCie drives but my luck with both the conventional HDDs and the SSDs from this brand has been excellent This is nearly as fast as the internal SSD on my Mac Studio so I am happy with that.

2Tの外付けSSD（11個）に映像データを保存。 念の為、４Tの外付けHDD（5個）と ２Tの外付けHDD（1個）にバックアップしているが、追加や削除を繰り返してるので、 デフラグの代わりに初期化・再コピーで対応。その為、一時保管場所として本製品を購入。 初期化は、これを機に古いMac OS拡張（ジャーナリング）から 最新のAPFS（アップル・ファイル・システム）に全てのSSDとHDDを変更。 良かった点 ・SSDはコピーが速い（HDDの３〜４倍くらい速い） ・発熱が少ない（SSDなのでオレンジのゴムカバー付きでも熱くならない） 気になった点 ・2025年11月購入なのに、届いた製品の製造年が2024年で古い。 ・価格が高い。約40000円。LaCie製品全般で高く感じる。 今回は海外取り寄せでなく在庫ありの為、２日後に届いたので良しとする。 持っている外付けのSSDとHDD全てが、デザインが好きなLaCie製品なので、まぁ満足しています。

Ed è pure da 2 TB ahah! È troppo carino e bello di design! Cioè, ho messo 20 GB e li ha copiati in qualche secondo… il tempo di cambiare pagina e aveva già finito ahah. Veramente buono! Lo porterò sempre con me e ci caricherò tutti i miei ricordi. Ho pure comprato un HDD da 5 TB, anche quello molto buono. Una marca affidabile: LaCie!
