The six shades that can be made from mixing primary and secondary colors. For example, mix Green and Blue to make Teal. TINT The act of lightening a color by adding white to it. White is needed to create Tint. SHADE The act of darkening a color by adding black. Black is needed to create Shade. TONE Slightly darkening a color by adding gray. Mix Black and White to make gray.
