Exactly what I wanted
The Osprey Chest Rig leaves my hands free, stores all the essential items that I always keep with me, is comfortable to wear, light weight, durable, water-resistant, and well constructed. It has turned out to be exactly what I need - a great alternative to a fanny pack, small cross-body bag, or small shoulder bag. Compared with those, I worry much less about theft or pick-pocketing while in crowds. It also makes access to frequently-reached-for items faster and more convenient. The chest rig's design helps keep things organized. It has two main compartments that are accessible from the top of the pack and a smaller compartment on the front that is best for small, thin items such as travel documents, maps, and the like. It is a perfect place for storing one's passport or other ID, etc. when navigating airport security lines. The zippers that open and close each of these compartments are a little stiff, but still easily opened and closed. One of the main compartments is further subdivided in several ways. On one side there are two small elasticized pockets that can securely hold items such as a phone, a battery, or a power adapter. On the other side there is a single pocket that can be zippered shut. The center of this compartment is further divided into two good sized open sections to help keep things organized and untangled. The other main compartment is not subdivided and has a clip on which one might attach keys. It is suitable for larger items that might not fit in the other main compartment. I have found wearing the chest rig on my chest to be quite comfortable. It did take a bit of fiddling with the shoulder and hip straps to get it to fit just right. It works well when worn in conjunction with my Sojourner 30L backpack. The chest rig can also be mounted on my backpack's hip strap. The straps can be tucked away inside the back of the chest rig so they do not dangle when they are not being used. They shoulder are generously long. Given that and how the chest rig fits on me, I expect it should fit almost anybody, even when worn atop winter outerwear. Highly recommended!

Chest tool pouch
I use this for carrying tools and they fit in quite well with lots of organization. Water resistant and durable material lead me to think I’ll have this pouch for a long time.

Lightweight chest rig that’s great for carrying just a few items.
Ordered this to test a compact carry option for short rides and errands. It fits essentials like wallet, phone, and keys without being cumbersome. The straps are comfortable and it feels secure while biking. Not a replacement for a full backpack but perfect for minimal daily carry.

Another Great Osprey Product
I wouldn't be caught wearing this at airport during business trips however I can certainly see wearing this on my long treks or even bike rides. The utility of this osprey bag is in its position on your chest in the front. You can store several essentials for easy reach without having to pull down your bag overtime you need it. Especially during long biking session, the front loading bag comes in very handy. You can cinch it so that it stays quite stable on your torso. With legendary Osprey quality I am very excited to have this bag in my storage and I am looking forward to using it for years to come

Never Knew I'd Been Missing Out
I didn't realize I needed this until I took it backpacking. For the past 30 years, I've been leaving prime real estate bare and unused in the center of my chest. This little pack nestles nicely in between the shoulder straps of my own personal Osprey Atmos (65L), giving me stupid easy access to all the stuff I normally have to pop my arm out of socket to grab at on my side pouches or brain. Snacks? Knife? Map? Compass? Headlamp? Bug netting? First aid kit? All go into the chest pouch. It has room for everything and then some. And the way the pockets flop forward is inspired. It's almost like the designers knew what they were doing. Let's talk about quality. As I mentioned, I own other Osprey's gear. I've purchased a lot of it over the years, and I'm always impressed with the toughness and durability. This is no exception. It's waterproof and not going anywhere once it's on. I have no concerns about getting caught out on a ridge in a rainstorm. I plan to give this plenty of use, so I checked over the seams and wear points. No issues there. It's well constructed. As far as comfort goes, the straps are lightweight but padded. The air channels really help manage the heat. In retrospect, I kind of wish I wouldn't have picked the black color, but it hasn't been too much of a problem. If nothing else, it warms my protein bar, which is kind of nice in the shoulder months. Who doesn't like a warm cookie?

A big, versatile chest pack, but made for bigger people
This is a nice chest pack that features not only nice, big pockets, but also a number of storage compartments that make it versatile to use. I have used it mainly when flying my paramotor; It's perfect for carrying my phone, a 360 camera and maybe a selfie stick, and other small gear that I want to carry along. As with every other piece of gear I've owned that's been made by Osprey, This pack shows quality in both the materials and the construction! The only downside, and my only reason for subtracting a star, is the size of the chest straps. I'm 5'9", 175 lbs, and with a 40" chest measurement. I could just barely pull the chest straps tight enough to fit me. I simply ran out of strap to adjust. TBH, I would like to adjust it a tad more snug if there was room in the adjustment. I think anyone smaller or skinnier than me will find themselves unable to tighten this to the point that it feels comfortable and doesn't bounce around.

Great build, super comfortable. Could do to have more pockets/articulation inside.
