This curtain pole was easy to fit and the instructions were clear and concise. When in position it looks quite elegant. A very good price as well. I only needed to use two support struts although three were provided. No sagging in the middle with a length of 5 feet. Happy with purchase.

Each pole is 127cm. Both poles together make 254cm minimum before adding the telescopic centre pole. The minimum length of the pole was stated as 183cm (as stated on the box). Okay, so if you want a shorter pole, YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT THE SMALLER, CENTRE POLE AND FLIP IT AROUND. The smaller, centre pole has a fitting on the end to fit the finial ball into and the other, 127cm pole, can be recycled or used for another purpose (as long as that purpose is legal, decent etc). I like the fact that the finial balls are screwed into the ends. I had a similar style of pole from Homebase and the balls were attached with as side screw that was supposed to hold them in place but didn't. Picture the damage that a spherical lump of metal falling onto your foot will do, but this one does not have this problem. The support brackets are strong enough to take heavy curtains and were easy to fit. The wall screws and plugs were of good quality. This makes a real difference, because too many products try to save a few pence by using soft-steel screws or sub-standard plugs that will ruin an otherwise good product, as well as your entire day. So I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a good, sturdy, basic curtain pole.

This product is good but I sent it back as it was bigger than I wanted

They're very easy to install and all the hooks and screws are in the box. I was looking for something what will fit my windows and they're perfect for the size, as it's very easy to adjust them. They're very light, so even one person can put them in. When friends were visiting me and saw them they were expecting they were dearer, so overall it's a great value for money.

Really good quality item, easy to install and comes with the fixtures and fittings. Feels sturdy and looks nice. Found it scratches easily from sitting it in the brackets to ensure it was level as I fitted the brackets to the wall. The end decorations are far larger than I imagined which made installation tricky as I had a small gap in the corner with only a small amount of wall space before the window aperture. It looks really nice in the Nikel colour and really goes well with the room decor and the curtains. Good value for money and nice quality even if the surface marks easily.

It looks good and is sturdy

Finials are MASSIVE. Comedically huge, like cricket balls. You can't quite see from the picture, so they are effectively unusable. Everything else is surprisingly sturdy and well-made for the price.

So I don't use this as a curtain rail, I do however use it as a clothes rail to hang up clothes to dry as running the dryer at the moment is too costly. It's super easy to put together, just slot one piece into the other and screw the ends on and all done! Then it's a case of just popping it onto whatever hooks you're using (I didn't use the ones that came with it as they looked a bit flimsy, I'm using some big not so pretty strong ones) It holds a lot of weight as well, I've hung a freshly washed double blanket from it and clothing at the same time and it's held it all up. Does exactly what I wanted it to do.
