Great looking gravel for our aquarium
Our aquarium needed a new gravel and this is an excellent option. It wasn’t as bad to clean as some gravels are, before putting it in the tank. Just washed it part by part, nice and easy. The gravel itself has lots of colours from pinks, purples, whites, and bits of blue and green too. This seems to be discontinued from nearly all other places so although it is a fraction dearer than normal, it’s prob because you will have trouble getting it else where. I’ll be buying a second bag for another aquarium before they sell out. It’s easy to clean once in the aquarium too (using an electric gravel cleaner). The pieces are a nice size, and very nice mix of shapes and colours. Would recommend. The item picture doesn’t really show how good it really is.

Small stones for fish.
Switched to gravel from our original sand setup and much prefer it as it's much easier to clean and the fish appear to prefer it too. It took a fair amount of washing. I can't remember exactly how long but it ran into days rather than hours. The initial wash was simply to remove the surface debris, I then left it to soak for around 24hrs and then rinsed it again. Another long stand was followed by a final rinse and then it was ready to go in... within minutes of it going in my tank was completely clouded but that was due to the filter choosing that exact moment to give up and die. Typical! With a new filter installed the water cleared within an hour or so and my little swimmers were transferred back into their new-look home. I've not had any complaints so far so must assume that they like it. They're all eating well so I'm taking that as a win. It's expensive, considering it's simply dug out of the ground and packed, and it's absolutely identical to the stuff already on our driveway, but nobody forced me to buy it. I probably wouldn't buy it again but mainly because I'm really tight rather than the product being rubbish.

Good color for fish tank

Consistent colour
Looks good and with another colour adds contrast to the tank. Beware 8kg doesn't go far so for a large tank it's more cost effective to get some fish friendly gravel to mix with it from your local DIY outlet. Rinse well before adding to tank!

LOVELY GRAVEL & EASY TO CLEAN
The best gravel I have ever purchased and it is easy to clean through, unlike others on the market. Very natural and compliments Dragon Rocks perfectly. Have purchased 3 bags so far to use in 2 tanks. All inhabitants seem to enjoy it. My Aqua-Scape includes planting and so far so good. They seem to be rooting well in it though are supplemented by weekly feed. It also includes a sandy area and compliments this beautifully. Will try and upload photos as soon as I am able. Will definitely purchase again and highly recommend to starter or expert enthusiasts.

Verry good and dont need to wash much
Cant beat the price when it is on offer but the reason why i keep buying this gravel is because it looks natural and it does not have a lot of dust. I put this in my tank and my fish were fine (without washing it). The water did not go cloudy or anything. I bought another gravel as i was topping it up and that one from my lfs was full of dust, it turned my water into water ypu could not see through. I unfortunately lost an angelfish due to that so i have said i am going to buy this gravel from now on. I have it in a couple of my tanks and it looks verry appeiling, the plants grow well in it and if you have a deep enough layer around 5cm, it makes planting easy. I do want to inform you though that amazon will not accept this as a return because of its weight. It is dissapointing but understandable. Anyway would reccomend overall and please could you find my reveiw helpful below? Thank you

Oh so sharp
very angular, fish hate it, they no longer grub through the base of the tank And it is very purple Wish I had only added a little cos it is going to be so hard to remove now

Great gravel for natural set ups.
Really nice gravel, I wanted something natural looking, a nice size for plants and something that wouldnt cut bottom feeders mouths. This ticks all the boxes for me. Its a little expensive but worth it. Came very clean out of the bag, could almost get away with not washing but worth a rinse. I bought the natural highland variety.
