I own my own pet care business, and have had cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve tried every pill pocket and pill-hiding trick out there and this is hands down the best. Unlike pill pockets, this wrap is thin, pliable, and actually sticks to the pill, so pets can’t eat the food and spit out the medication. That alone makes it far more effective. What really sold me is how well it works for cats. Cats are extremely picky and clever about avoiding pills, and this is one of the very few products I’ve seen that they’ll reliably accept. I also appreciate that the ingredients are much cleaner and healthier than many similar products, without a lot of unnecessary junk. As someone who gives medications regularly to both my own pets and client pets, that matters to me. This has become my go to pill solution for both cats and dogs. I recommend it without hesitation.

These make giving pills incredibly easy. My kitty went nuts for it so much that sometimes we’d just give her some as a treat. I love that you just tear a piece off so that you can make it big for large pills or small for little ones. Most importantly for our family, this product is gluten free. Our household is completely gluten free for medical reasons and this is the only pill wrapping product I’ve found that doesn’t contain gluten. Even better the ingredients are simple and whole foods. The only thing to be aware of is that the texture of the wraps does change over time. They become less sticky and pliable (though I’ve never had it get to the point that we couldn’t use them). Make sure to seal the bag thoroughly after each use.

My cat, who was recently taken in as a stray and will ravenously devour everything (even licks dishes in the sink if we don’t wash them right away), will not even touch these. Also not returnable so just out $10 for a treat that apparently doesn’t even smell like food.

But she always seemed to spit it out or eat around it. These dog pill wrappers have been a total game-changer. The texture is soft and pliable, making it easy to mold around pills of all shapes and sizes. It doesn’t crumble or fall apart like some other products I’ve tried. Best of all, my dog actually thinks it’s a treat. She gets excited when she sees the wrapper and doesn’t even realize she’s taking her medicine! Works well and it does work to put any size pill in as you wrap it. A bit sticky but My dog likes it. I actually use three different types of products like this to hide the pills, so she doesn't get tired of or used to any of it. The product doesn't seem to last that long though, my pills are large, and they may base 30 servings on something much smaller.

They are easy to tear or cut with scissors my babes (dogs) had no issue taking them. They do have some stretch so using smaller pieces will make it last longer. Biggest issue for me is that they left sticky/tackiness to fingers which I didn't like. I just toss the pill cover meds in their morning and eve meals and they never have not eating them but, I tend to stack my babes bowls on top of each other to carry them into the other room and find if I use this product and stack my bowls I have to make sure it don't stick to the bottom of other bowl.... But easy fix is add the pill to bottom them their food. Don't think you get much for ur money for the product...yes it's 3 rolls but I can go through a roll a week per dog so it's not month worth for one dog. Also I prewrap and put my babes meds in a 7wk pill container... I did find that this product does dry out by day 5/6 so make sure yah seal the bag tight or yah may get dog chew treats instead. But my pills didn't deteriorate as in other dog pill pockets.

This is a fantastic way to give your dog a pill without turning the event into a full-scale wrestling match. At first, my dog thought this was a magical treat delivery system. Hope was high. Trust was strong. Tails were wagging. Eventually, my dog figured out that a pill was involved. She is not fooled. She is disappointed. The ability to adjust the amount of product to match the pill size is clutch. Big pill? Covered. Tiny pill? Still hidden well enough to avoid immediate suspicion. It’s like disguising medicine with just enough flavor to make the betrayal tolerable. Does my dog side-eye me now? Yes. Does she still take her medicine without drama, drooling, or Olympic-level resistance? Also yes. Overall, this product saves time, dignity, and at least one human finger.

I use the bacon flavor. I didn't realize they had a new "recipe" until after the product was already here. The old recipe was perfect for my needs. I have a dog who needs seizure meds 3 times a day but I am gone 14 hours a day on work days. My solution to her mid day meds was to take the pill wraps and wrap the thinnest layer I could over the pill, dust it in a little bit of confectioners sugars, and store in the freezer to be loaded in to my treat camera. I was then able to shoot the pill in to her crate and watch her eat it. With the treat camera I have, I needed something not much bigger than the pill and not too sticky or it would get stuck(the confectioners sugar fixed that with the old recipe) The new recipe is thicker and stickier than the original recipe. Too thick and too sticky for my purposes. I searched for a product that would work for a bit before I found this one and it was perfect before they changed it. Its a huge disappointment and inconvenience for me as I am now out of the money I paid for the packs with the new recipe and have to search for something else.
