The tools provided with the kit is not what you need I would recommend you getting your own tool set aside to make things easier for you other than that the assembly was straightforward other than bleeding the line upon startup there was no issues and the bike started every time

This engine performs really good. Ranging from speed, fuel efficiency and reliability. Topping out at around 30-35 mph for me. I get around almost 50 miles per tank which isn’t bad at all for such a small engine. It’s a reliable engine as parts are cheap or expensive to fix but it differs. Ranging from 10-100 dollars per part/set. A couple down side parts about this engine is how it maintains. I’ve had this engine for about a month and it was slowly dying on me until it gave up. Parts from inside the engine and outside were breaking off. While also destroying the inside of the engine. Parts are cheap but with all of the money I spent on parts. I could have gotten me a brand new engine kit/set. Now these are Chinese motors and I wasn’t expending alot from it. But surviving only a month and it broke on me already? That’s pretty bad. I’m giving this product a 3/5. A three for the fuel efficiency, speed and reliability. Removing two stars because of how cheap the engine is made of, and how easy parts can break off. Also because of the engine dying on me. This is my honest review. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps you understand this product and thinks about buying this.

I decided to write a follow up to my original post. After purchasing this kit back last fall I was about to give up on this unit. I have replaced the CDI twice but have a performance CDI with a performance NGK plug from O'Reilly. I cut the wire in half and spliced with a expensive wire. It seems that I have trouble getting it started without spring fluid into the air filter. When it takes off, it takes off if you throttle it. It seems to run well with air filter off. I think I'm upgrading on carburetor as well as muffler. After reading a post on FB It seems that the main issue have been with improper clutch adjustment to actually get started. I have also upgraded hardware to 10.8 as muffler would come loose. The definite flaw with kit is boom was hard to follow as well as leaking fuel out air filter. I'm now giving seller benefit despite issues

I will start this review off by stating I've owned this kit for about 2 months now, and the motor still runs pretty solid. I've ran into several issues with this kit which I believe are due to cheap hardware and consistent vibrations. One of the recurring issues that I noticed was in wet weather the bike would run and then not want to start, after researching how this motor functions I realized the magneto was getting waterlogged. I have had the exhaust fall off and damage the thread to the head, and also have had the chain tensioner come loose and pull into the rear spokes. Using as much loctite as possible and consistently checking to make sure all hardware is tight helps reduce the chance of any major faults. The good about this kit I feel is after the learning curve the bike reliably starts in almost any conditions, it will get waterlogged sometimes because I need to reseal the magneto cover, and when it starts running it runs smooth once the break in is over. My top speed so far is 36 mph on a 26" mountain bike. Having proper tools for this makes the install alot easier but I would suggest replacing most of the nuts and bolts with stronger ones from a local hardware store to reduce the nightmare of snapping half of the bolts trying to tighten them good enough

Just finished getting it together on a 20 inch bike. It would definitely be a lot better if it did it on the recommended bike size but will definitely work for anything 20in-28in bike. Quality: Isn’t too bad everything seems to be made pretty good engine sounds healthy and rides pretty good after getting up to speed( still in the breaking in so I’ll do an update after I get past that point Throttle could be made a bit better though cheaply made to get it out the door but does work don’t know how long it will last but definitely will get you to know what the bike does and what you can push out of it, will have to either mock up a new way with this one or order a better quality preferably some sort of metal for the throttle cable to sit in other then that no issues with trying to get up to speed with it (does not go as fast as you’d like but it definitely saves your legs when your exhausted Overall set up to get things on( presumably you have a bike that’s recommended for it) is pretty easy doesn’t hurt to watch a video before starting the project but only took me a few hours after having things preped on my end would have been shorter if I didn’t have to cut and weld my frame since it was already smaller then intended. Definitely worth the 150ish if you lose your license and have to bike to work saves a ton of money on gas and all around pretty peaceful since you don’t have a speed limit on the side walks
