This is fab. One of the best garden tools I possess - it breaks up the soil at the same time as weeding, and makes both jobs so much easier. It's a good size for me too - at 6 ft I sometimes find tools a little small. It weighs very little, and is very reasonably priced.

Easy to put together, clear instructions, used it several times now and with excellent results. Would highly recommend if you've got an allotment.

Easy to put together and works well on dry soil. If soil slightly wet though it does have a tendency to clog up. Good for what I needed

Works well initially but looked like this after its first use. Would it have really cost that much more to use a slightly stronger type of metal?

This tool works well on softer ground, breaking the soil whilst removing most of the weeds. The issue comes when trying to break up hard soil, then it struggles, requiring a lot of force to get through the soil. In the end, the metal fork broke after about 6 weeks of light use and I was forced to return the item. Test your soil first before buying - soft soil =5*, hard soil = 2*.

Love it, it breaks up the soil really well. But you need to put your muscles to work, it's not light work. Only issue I've had is one side gets blocked with soil so I have to keep stopping to unblock it. It may be down to how I use it or it may be the prongs, I've added a picture to show where it gets blocked. And a picture of before and after the ground was weeded and rotivated.

I decided to buy this on a whim,while perusing allotment tools. What can I say. Best money I've spent on my allotment so far. Makes weeding and cultivating actually enjoyable. Easy to use robust and a delightful shade of orange. My new favourite tool.

Ich entkraute den Kiesweg in der Gartensiedlung damit - 35 m in einer halben Stunde, wo ich sonst 5 Stunden für benötigte ! Auch im Beet gut zu nutzen, wenn dieses nicht total nass ist. Eine wahre Erleichterung der Gartenarbeit ! Auch meine Gartennachbarn haben es getestet und sind begeistert.

Jag testade jordfräsen/kultivatorn första gången efter att det hade regnat. Jag blev överraskad då denna manuellt drivna maskin fungerade mycket effektiv. Jag behövde knappt använda någon kraft och rensade enkelt upp en massa ogräs. Mycket bra värt sitt pris. Jag rekommenderar denna.

This small unit is operated with a pull/push motion that allows you to remove the superficial weeds (dandelions, plantain etc) as well as a small area of the upper root. This is accomplished by the flexible motion of the scraper bar on the back of the unit It also has a small rotary earth auger tines that allow you to till and cultivate the earth. However this auger is really only useful if the soil is soft and easy to mix. Hard ground… the auger aspect is useless… if the ground is solid because this unit operates on your own physical output. However, as mentioned, the business part is this unit (the weed remover) is the small scraper bar on the back that works at an easily adjustable angle(s). By using this free motion scraper bar on the back you can easily remove the top of such weeds as dandelions and plantain and the upper tops of their roots Also this unit has three handle joints that are removable to adjust to your height. The lengths simple screw together/apart. N.B. This unit is operated by hand! Your hands! Realistically unless you’ve super human strength you will only be able to use this for small areas and for short periods of time, because it is labor intensive. But having said that… this is a well made little unit that is really great for small areas of lawn. 5 Stars
