Reasonably easy installation (see below for the hard part), performs very well, quiet. This is by far the best disposal we ever bought. The packaging was, I'm sorry to report, 10x better than US-made units we bought. For the anecdote, I bought a US-made unit (purposefully). It arrived busted likely because the factory packaging was insufficient for such a heavy item. Returned and bought another US-made unit. Exact same issue, but worse (it seemed both brands were made in the same factory.) The only downside is that compared to previous units I bought this one is very heavy, too heavy for yours truly to handle easily while crawling under the sink. I had to use books to gradually lift the disposal to the sink's drain. That was the only laborious part of the process. Otherwise its materials are much more premium than anything I put under my sink previously. We'll see how long it lasts (my previous one lasted 16 years).

Had installed and does the job!

This is a preliminary evaluation. I bought it to replace an older disposal that was leaking. I received it. It is a heavy item. But installation was easy, once I placed an up-side-down bucket under it to support it, while I moved it in place to mount it to the mounting rim/ring under the sink. After a couple of tries, I got it lined up properly, and turned it to lock it in place on the ring. Since this was a replacement, I did not have to install a new ring assembly in the sink, and I was able to use the existing plastic pipe that drained the older, defective unit. I am not a plumber. But it appears I have no leaks. The electrical cord was already connected to the new unit. I was able to plug it into the existing switched outlet, and when I turned it on it worked! It is a good deal quieter than my old disposal. This review is "preliminary" because, having just installed it, only time will tell how long it will function properly. The weight of the unit suggests it is not cheaply made.

This is clearly the best disposal I have ever bought and installed. After years and years of always buying the least expensive Insinkerator model, I opted for a more powerful model with more sound insulation for quieter operation, but still utilizing my existing mounting hardware. I also like the combination plug and debris pusher. Installation was a breeze and we are delighted by the quiet operation. The combo plug and debris pusher eliminates the strainer my wife had insisted on, which was a sore point between us. Lastly, this item costs less than the 3/4 HP Insinkerator model.

Worked fine for a few months. Had a tea spoon handle get cought in the bottom for a split second and burnt up the motor. Was very quiet and worked well during the short time it operated.

It’s quiet but does a really good job with disposing the garbage. The stainless steel internal is what sold me. Never going back to the other brand which will eventually end up slimy.

Very silent considering the 1hp motor, was having issues with previous brands as my outlet is 3ft away from where garbage disposal is located In past the other brands I would of had to replace the power cable with longer one, this one comes with 3ft cable pre installed, and foam thats used to package this in box stack up almost perfect which makes installe easier because it was literally inches away form sink so no one arm holding while positioning its as if everything was taught. Out Another bonus is inside is made of stainless steel cheaper ones ive bought in past will eventually rust out and leak water im hoping this ones last years I hate installing them
