Does exactly what you want it to do. Yes it could be sturdier but I carry it in my work bag and it has not been damaged. I like that I can still play music or answer important calls but blocks access to all distracting apps very successfully

To the person who is reading this review whilst on your screen, you, like me, are addicted to your phone whether you want to admit it or not!! :) The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, and this device is a fantastic way to reduce screen time. If easily distracted like me especially when working from home it’s a great way to lock it away and focus!! Like any addictive substance, and I include our phones in that, start slow, lock it away for 30 minutes first time and then if you feel okay go 45 minutes, then one hour etc throughout the day!! When I’m working from home I’m able to lock it away for two hours when I start at 9 o’clock and I have noticed my urge to check my phone disappears because I’m focused on my work!! Very easy to use and it does have a emergency unlock which I believe is only valid twice, hence the “start slow” process. I personally wouldn’t lock it away for more than 2-3 hours at a time, unless you were going to sleep at night. The maximum you can lock it for is 99 hours lol and the minimum is 1 minute! Hightly recommendeded and the battery lasts ages too!

Kids hate it lol, but that's what we needed it for. Very strong lock and build, perfect size for all phones and very easy to use. Cant be beaten on value too.

The hinge part at the bottom was either broken when I got it or it broke off the first time I used it. They did offer a money back return but I missed the return date which is on me.

Bought the product, came promptly then next day as I have a Prime subscription. Had battery in it already, so was good to use straight away. Easy, clear instructions to follow, using it now whilst I do work. Dimensions and appearance exactly as advertised.

Finally stopped me from picking my phone up and checking it. Easy to use, can still take a phone call if need be.

Bueno, no es que el teléfono haya hecho algo para tener que estar en la cárcel, más bien es para ponerlo a salvo del dueño que no lo suelta hasta que le agota por completo la batería… Tras esta introducción voy con este simpático artilugio. La idea en sí es buena, una herramienta para desconectar del móvil, de les redes, de mensajes, en navegación, de correos, de agenda… y como el personal no está muy por la labor, pues una opción por la bravas: encerrar al móvil en una “jaula”. Los materiales son de calidad, con una construcción robusta y unos controles para su uso muy prácticos. Permite encerrar el móvil hasta durante varios días (posibilidad que muy poca gente usará), y cuenta, por si las emergencias, con la opción de apertura anticipada con una combinación de teclas. Aunque en un principio, salvo que se tenga que salir a la calle, o se necesite algún archivo que esté en él, esta opción no tiene porque ser necesaria, ya que en el caso de recibir llamadas permite responderlas sin tener que abrirlo. Y cabe, por ahora, cualquier teléfono ya que la caja es grande. Es muy interesante para niños y adolescentes, al poder restringir en uso del móvil mientras no tengan los deberes hechos, hayan dedicado un tiempo al estudio, hayan ordenado su cuarto o ayudado en tareas de la casa, o incluso para dormir, ya que el teléfono puede quedar encerrado toda la noche. Para adultos, para uso mismo, la utilidad se la encuentro más limitada, ya que si se tiene la fuerza de voluntad de no poderle la clave de desbloqueo una vez que está dentro, muy posiblemente también se tendrá la capacidad de apagar el teléfono, dejarlo en otra habitación, ponerlo boca abajo sin sonido, etc. Porque para uno mismo, como sabes la combinación de desbloqueo sería como hacerse trampas al solitario… Y en las empresas, no se como estará la ley al respecto, pero se puede emplear para que los empleados tengan su teléfono con ellos, por si tienen una llamada de emergencia de su casa, del colegio de los hijos, etc, pero al mismo tiempo no lo pueden usar para el whatsapp, el twitter, el correo, etc durante la jornada laboral. Bueno, lo dicho, para niños y adolescentes lo veo genial, hasta necesario en algunas casas, pero para uno mismo su utilidad la veo más limitada.
