Excellent puppy food. Expensive, but my dogs look very healthy with great coats and sparkling, clear eyes. Beware, if you feed them too much they will poo for England! It's surprising how little they need. Make sure they have access to lots of fresh water. I also soak their food in a little hot water for a few minutes and feed when the food has cooled down enough. They find it more appetising.

Great dog food for puppies, especially when adding to home cooked food to add nutrients. I researched a lot in order to find a good quality dry food for my pup and although it’s not cheap it’s best nutrition for your puppy!! My recent order came with a lovely card and free gift which was so nice!

My dog loves AATU and she is thriving on it. I am oprepared to pay cost but others may not.

I first read about AATU when doing research on the best food for my cat. So I decided to purchase a bag and my cat loved it. Within just 1 week we saw the difference in her coat as it became really shiny and looked more healthy. We have never looked back and she is still on the food over a year later. Naturally as soon as we had our new Lab puppy, we wanted to wean her onto AATU from the mince she was being fed from the breeder. I was really pleased to see that AATU had launched their first puppy feed, so purchased the 1.5kg right away. Again I could see a massive difference in the health and shine of her coat and everyone comments on this, saying how shiny her coat is. We have used the recommended portion to dog weight ratio and she is growing at the perfect rate and laying down nice lean muscle. Due to my puppy's activity level I have always fed her the highest weight in grams for her weight. For example from about 12 weeks old she has been exercising 1.5 - 2 hours per day. Some will say this is too much for a puppy but I have let her set the pace and she has responded wonderfully. So the reason for 4 stars is the price! Not sure if this is Amazon or AATU setting the price here, but since I started buying this over 3 months ago the price has gone up every month. May it was £35.99 - June £43.99 and now on 26th June the price is £48.05. When you compare the normal Amazon price for the AATU chicken adult dog feed its £49.99 for 10KG. The Amazon price for the adult dog food is very good when compared to the likes of Pets at Home priced at £67.99 for 10kg and the Duck flavor £73.99. So paying nearly £50 for 5kg is too much in my opinion and I am struggling to justify this. My puppy is now 12kg at 5 months old, which means she needs 240g per day. If you divide 5kg by 240g then the 5kg bag will only last 20 days ish. When it was £35.99 I was happy and now....not so much. I wanted to feed my puppy on this until she was 1 year old and we are looking to get our second puppy early next year and wanted to be able to give that one the same good start. I have now set up the 5 items on subscribe and save just to unlock the 15% saving for this food, which at the moment brings the price down to £40.84. Please bring the price back down so more dogs can benefit from this food. So in summery - the food will get 5 stars but the price is just too high. I have added a picture of the dog weight to feed ratio on the back of the packet as you cant see it on the main product images - not sure of that's on purpose or not.

Checked the best before date on packet, turns out a 5kg bag of puppy food expires in 4 weeks. Total waste of money. I cancelled the bag with my usual order from the genuine AATU website. If it appears too good to be true, it usually is. Had to give one star, but didn't want to.

I absolutely love this brand, my Lhasa Apso has been on the puppy version of this, the adult salmon and herring and now the chicken. He barks with excitement for his food and the nutrition has contributed to his good health. Highly recommended, invest your dog deserves the best.

Excellent dog food amazing.

We have changed our 14week old labrador pup onto Aatu has the food which was started by the breeder was in our opinion a lower quality food and our dog seemed to have grown to dislike the previous food. My only concern is its suitable for all size puppies but the kibble is that small it sometimes sounds as if our puppy has inhaled some of the kibble even though he doesn't eat his food in 1 minute like our old labrador did.
