Bought these for a kitchen ceiling update, took down a grid type ceiling which had the awful late 1980s fluorescent lights. Replaced with these for a fantastic modern upscale look, love the choices of light color (chose yellow for warm light color in an area without much natural sunlight. Put a dimmer switch in as well. The nightlight feature is GREAT! Much better price than the big box stores, have 6 extra to keep for replacement needs in years to come. Easy installation as well. Very very happy!

SUMMARY: Really cool light, that doubles for higher ambience. Wholeheartedly recommend. PROS: Good light output and color in primary mode. Really nice color and output in secondary "ring light" mode. Both light modes work on a dimmer, so you can go from full bright in primary mode to super dim and warm in secondary, or anywhere in-between. CONS: None really. You do have to take your time between switching the modes, but not a lot. DETAILS: Got these used, but the idea seemed cool. Boy am I glad I did. These things are AWESOME! The first function is the primary down-light, which is plenty bright and is dimmable. Switch off then on again, you get the much warmer light just around the ring of the light that is more indirect (and dimmable). We've had fun playing with the different settings, and no matter if it's early morning, late night, or mid-day we can always find the right combination of light output and light color. (FYI, the ring light is really only good for use when it's dark outside). I'm in love with the ring light specifically, as it makes my living room look like a fancy movie theater. It also works really well as a night-light when dimmed, as it can be turned down to a 'just enough to see where you're going' brightness and not wake you up in the middle of the night.

These lights are great, easy to install, you can adjust the lighting settings on the boxes. i used them all over my house.i leave the front porch lights on all night and I've noticed zero spike in my electric bill. Highly recommend.

These are fantastic replacements for my old incandescent pot lights. I love the halo nightlight function really looks amazing. Being able to set the brightness of the fixture is also a great feature.

I have had these light for over 1 year and half. They have been great and zero issues. The night light function works great. The install is very easy.

I’ve had these installed for 2 years now and I’m really impressed with lights. The night light feature was one of the main reasons I wanted it and love it! The soft amber glow in night mode is perfect for our basement stairs and landing and provides the perfect amount of light and visibility. Installation was straightforward, and the 5CCT color temperature options make it easy to find the perfect lighting ambiance. Being able to set it and forget it before mounting is a big plus. Only 1 minor drawback is the synchronization issue mentioned in the instructions. Some of the lights did fall out of sync after installation, which required a reset to get them all working together again. I think since the install it has happened 3 times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s worth noting for anyone installing multiple units or wondering what to do when they go out of sync. Especially because when it happened to me it was when I was showing them off to family that was spending the night. Overall, a great buy with thoughtful features that elevate everyday lighting.

These lights are fantastic. I love that you can configure the color temperature and that they are dimmable. Especially considering how bright they are... But I love the halo effect. The installation was pretty easy once I figured out the light cans that were already in my ceiling. It ended up taking me about 15 minutes per light to replace. The installation was simple and they give you everything you could need. Now I just need a dimmer switch to control the brightness.
