AWESOME.
I did a good amount of research and read a lot of positive reviews on these Nothing Ear (a) buds and bought them to replace a set of Costco-bought Hypersonic earbuds after I lost the left one. Didn't want to spend $250 - $300 on earbuds so the Ear (a) buds were in the range I was looking for. I am not what I'd call an "audiophile." although I do most of my headphone listening on a pricey pair of Beyerdynamic T1's powered through a Beyerdynamic A1 headphone amp, and I am a musician so my trained ear DOES appreciate quality sound. These slick little Ear (a) buds did not disappoint! I use them with an iPhone and they produce nice, clean sound with great range and tonality. Good separation regardless of the type of music you like to listen to. The fit is snug but comfortable (and they come with 3 different size soft ear bulbs for many ear shapes and sizes). The noise cancelling does not totally block louder outside sounds but, when combined with a proper fit, it is adequate even when doing noisy tasks like mowing the lawn or using power tools. So when using them in more normal settings, like on a plane or in a room of people talking, they are very good at screening out extraneous noise so you can focus on the music. The bluetooth connection is easy and solid and they have not randomly disconnected once since I've had them, unlike other earbuds I've used. And I love the the bright yellow color! Sure makes it easy to spot them when I set them down somewhere and have to search the house for them (happens a lot!). Battery life seems very good and recharging is quick. I can easily get an entire day of listening out of one charge. Oh, and the app is fantastic for controlling the buds and customizing the sound with the equalizer to set your own personal listening preference. I'm hoping these Nothing Ear (a) buds last a long time and I'd highly recommend them!

8 months in - I use them more than I thought I would
8 months in - I use them a few times a week, backup to my AirPod Pro 2s. Really impressed by these, I find myself reaching for them more than I would have thought. I love the design (got the yellow ones), they have solid build quality, great sound, and decent ANC. Fit is a personal thing - I find them incredibly comfortable (perhaps more so than the AirPods). Are the controls as slick as the AirPod Pros? No. But for 100 bucks or less with active noise cancelling? No brainer. A deeper look, some notes: - If you’re an Apple user, the controls on the AirPods are likely to feel more intuitive and snappier; but props to Nothing for giving you a bit of customization. - I wish the volume control was a bit more polished. Full disclosure: I set them up with the app when I first got them, and haven’t fussed with them since. It’s essentially a multi-click-and-hold function on the stem of the earbud… I have mixed results so I resort to the phone to change volume. - A minor quip - the case is sometimes a little tricky to open due to the smooth, flush edges on the case - but I do appreciate that it has a strong magnet. I don’t really use these for calls, can’t comment - but they’ve worked in a pinch when I needed them. Overall my experience with these has been great - I love ‘em. I’d get them again, highly recommend.

These are the best budget earbuds from Nothing
These are the best cheap earbuds from Nothing that are not from CMF. These Earbuds are light in weight, including there actually pretty small. On a call, using mic on these are clear including wind-proof technology, it helps to effectively remove wind noises from a call. The connection for Bluetooth is really strong and you can also change to AAC or LDAC for high quality audio, and good Functionality. The sound quality is very bassy good! When you toggle Bass Enhancement, it makes it more bassy and handles lower frequencys better, and there's 5 levels, it's on by default. You can costum your own EQ, but it doesn't support Advance EQ. The charging is super fast but it doesn't support wireless charging which is a bummer for some people. The noise cancellation is good but doesn't really compete with other companies like Bose or Sony, it come's with different levels of strength for noise cancellation, if you turn on Adaptive Noise Cancellation it will listen and study the noise around you, if you in a quiet environment but there is some light noise like the AC, it will automatically adjust to Low, a little bit louder will be Mid, and then stuff like sirens or honking somewhere busy and loud it will automatically crank it up to the highest strength of noise cancellation. Now lastly durability, I gotten these Earbuds yesterday and I dropped it on my tile floor 2 times by, openings and unboxing wrong, accidentally pushing it off my couch and no damage. The box is pretty confusing, I recommend by opening and unboxing it on the table, and don't open it backwards to event it from dropping. Overall if you want a little bit stronger noise cancellation, a little more bass, and wireless charging as well, go with the Nothing Ear or the Nothing Ear (2) if you want those extra features (There are more features on the Nothing Ear 1, Nothing Ear 2 that I didn't discuss about)

Decent Earbuds. Mixed opinions on some features but no major cons
I really like the style of these earbuds and their quality for the price. The pinch gesture for skipping, pausing, etc is an interesting feature, can't decide whether I prefer it over buttons, though. Also the automatic pause if one of my earbuds falls/is taken out - sometimes helpful, other times inconvenient. All around, though, Id say or the price they are quite good. Noise cancellation is good, not the best I've ever had but for the price pretty good. Sound quality and clarity also competitive for the price. Battery lasts most of a day. Another con to me is that they don't automatically turn off if they go unused for a certain amount of time, so if you don't disconnect them or put them away, even if you're not listening to anything, they will drain.Otherwise, they are comfortable and not too heavy.

Noise canceling works well. Battery is at 80% after 2 hours of use.

I've been using my new Nothing Ear (a) earbuds since I've gotten them. The noise cancelling is so subtle that I didn't realise how much sound it blocks and I am pleased with the sound quality. I will have to try them on a call at some point. My old JBLs died on me after a little more than a year (it couldn't hold its charge) and I'd been eyeing these primarily because of its colour. I had an issue connecting them to 2 more devices (for a total of 3 - the earbuds support up to 8) and tech support was quick to respond - great service there and their recommendations worked. Great value!
