As a devoted Potterhead and Monopoly enthusiast, I couldn’t resist the chance to merge my two passions with the Harry Potter Monopoly edition – and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment I opened the box, I was taken back to the enchanting world of Hogwarts. The game board features iconic locations like Diagon Alley, The Great Hall, and of course, the legendary Quidditch pitch. Even the tokens are charmingly themed! Who wouldn’t want to play as a little Hogwarts express train or a time-turner? It definitely reinvigorated my love for the classic game with a spellbinding twist. What I really appreciated was how the game stayed true to the original Monopoly format while incorporating Harry Potter lore. Instead of traditional properties, we get to buy up esteemed Hogwarts locations and magical venues. The chance and community chest cards have been cleverly replaced with themed cards that immerse you in the magical world. You may find yourself battling Dementors or earning more wizarding currency while attending a Quidditch match—how delightful is that? The game is perfect for fans of all ages. I played with family members, ranging from my little cousins to my older siblings, and we all had a blast. The excitement of rolling the dice and trying to collect all the Wizarding World properties genuinely added a fun dynamic that’s often missing in traditional Monopoly. Setting up the game was straightforward, and once we got into it, the competitive spirit ignited! The unique banking system further enhances the nostalgia; feather quills stand in for Monopoly money, which is such a whimsical touch. In all honesty, I've played many editions of Monopoly, but this one stands out as a favorite due to its clever incorporation of beloved characters

The whole family has enjoyed playing Harry Potter Monopoly though I bought the game for my 8 yo granddaughter. The game seems reasonably well-made and should hold up well. The price was reasonable.

Great twist on Monopoly for Harry Potter fans, and for the most part great attention to detail. Love the player pieces, money/tokens, locations on the board, and even the hedwig owl post holder. I did feel like it was a missed opportunity sticking with the classic “jail” of Monopoly instead of naming it Azkaban. Overall pretty easy to play/follow if you are familiar with Monopoly rules.

I’m a Potterhead, and this is a great representation of the game. It’s self-explanatory, super easy to follow, and practically the same as the original Monopoly. I love the board and all the details. The only observation I have is that the jail space should have been designed as Azkaban instead of the regular jail. Other than that, I love it.

Great for family night. Our boys 10, 8 and 7 had a lot of fun. This variation of the game is fun and refreshing. Easy to learn if you already know how to play the original game. Boys have been going through a HP phase this was a perfect gift for Christmas.

Well designed. I’m a Harry Potter fan. Definitely like it! Good quality as well. It’s not very hard. Worth the value. Fun playing with friends and families.

As a huge Harry Potter fan and a lover of board games, I was excited to get my hands on the Harry Potter Monopoly, and for the most part, it’s a great addition to my collection. The super fun theme really shines through. The character tokens are brilliant, and the board squares, featuring iconic locations like Diagon Alley and Hogwarts, are beautifully designed and a joy for any Potterhead. However, while the unique wizarding currency adds to the theme, it’s not the most intuitive system. It definitely takes a bit of time and careful reading of the instructions to fully understand how it works. This could be a bit frustrating for players who just want to jump right into the game. Despite the slightly confusing money system, the overall gameplay is still enjoyable and the Harry Potter theme is incredibly well done. It’s a fun way to engage with the wizarding world and makes for a great game night, as long as everyone is prepared to spend a little time understanding the currency. Overall, a charming and thematic take on Monopoly, just be ready to read the instructions.

This was a gift for a friend and It’s so cool !! I had so much fun playing w friends and crushing them in the game hehe. Everything came complete, in great conditions, the instructions are easy to follow.

Its very nice. Hope you will have a stock soon. I wanted to buy for myself as well. I gave it as a gift to my friend and she loved it.

Monopoly in the Wizarding World. Lots of great detail in the board, pieces and cards. If you’re a fan, it’s a worthy addition to any collection.
