I wasn’t sure about this at first—L’Oreal Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray smells and feels a lot like hairspray, which is a little surprising. BUT once I tried it, I was blown away. This stuff really keeps your makeup in place! It has a slight mattifying effect, which works well if you’re oily-prone, but the main benefit is how long it lasts. I’d definitely use it for weddings, proms, or other big events because it truly locks everything in place for hours. The hype is real—Shelby on TikTok convinced me, and I’m glad she did. What I love: Makes makeup last all day or all night Slightly mattifying, so great for shine control Fine, even mist for full-face coverage Perfect for special occasions or long days Downside: Smells and feels like hairspray, which might be a little off-putting for some. If you get it in your hair, it does feel stiff like hair spray. Overall, this is a must-have if you need your makeup to stay put for long hours. I’ll definitely repurchase for events where I need my look to stay flawless.

Highly recommend this product; it sprays a fine mist which catches all angles of your face. It sets your make up literally more than 8 hrs for sure, probably more if needed. It has a faint fragrance but nothing overwhelming.

Love the fine mist application that is non irritating, great value, a little lasts all day or for a night out. Super lightweight with a soft finish.

I am in LOVE with this setting spray. I wore this for the first time for a gala over the weekend and my makeup didn't budge. Not even with all the the hugs, and eating and partying we did. Even when I went to go take it off, it still didn't come all the way off. I had to scrub my face with my face brush before it finally came off. The thing I like most is that, as an oily girl, I was able to use a napkin to blot the oil away without any of my makeup coming off with it. This is my first time ever being able to do that and I have used some EXPENSIVE setting sprays. My only reason for not being able to give it a full 5 stars is because of the smell and how it feels after spraying. I'm sure there are a million and one reviews about the smell and maybe it'll prompt L'Oreal to revisit the lab but ya'll..to me this smells like a can of spray paint. Like I literally gagged after spraying it. Horrible, horrible smell. And I also wasn't a fan of the fact that it made my face feel almost like stuck. Like maybe a tight sensation. I wasn't a huge fan of that. It does wear off but it took a good 20 minutes before my face felt normal again. However, with all of that, this may still be my new favorite setting spray. I just hope L'Oreal doesn't discontinue it like they've done some of my other favorite products. i just need them to revisit the smell. That's it, that's all.

LOVE this !!! It sets my makeup great and looks great! I've seen some ppl literally hard wiping their face after they spray this and show how there is makeup transfer....duh! if you hard wipe your face with a paper towel yes you're going to have makeup come off LOL. But for normal life this keeps my makeup set. It does have a strong hair spray smell and feel especially if you get some on your hair but this doesn't bother me so. The mist is super fine and after about a minute I don't even feel like I sprayed anything on. I do wish I got more product but it is what it is. I'll keep buying. Also I'm 43 with those lovely fine lines lol and it still works great for me.

It does what it should, but feels like literal hairspray on your face. There are other brands like milani that do not have that sticky tacky feel on the face good for long days and the elf one is good for everyday casual use. I tested these three with eyeshadow swatches on my arm and rubbed to confirm longevity and feel on skin. This I would only use for my wedding but I don’t think I would feel nice throughout the day with a sticky face. Strong though, because it’s hairspray.

love the L’Oréal Infallible Setting Spray! For my oily skin and my work environment which often has me moving between warehouses and extreme temperatures, hot and cold this spray keeps my makeup looking flawless all day. I especially love that it comes in an aerosol; the fine mist gives such an even distribution. It also helps minimize transfer, which is a huge plus. Definitely a must-have for anyone who needs long-lasting, reliable makeup wear!
