We got this for my mother in law who is very tech averse. The large buttons made it very easy for her to use and the recharge stand is also useful as it makes the phone easy to find and house when charging. Overall a very user friendly product.

This is the fourth phone I’ve purchased for my elderly uncle. The previous three were supposed to be ‘suitable for the elderly’ but their overall designs were far too complicated for my uncle and I doubt that the people who designed them ever spoke to an elderly person for their opinion! This phone has, by a long way, the potential to be the best phone by far. HOWEVER, many of the settings - the important settings - don’t work, aren’t the least bit intuitive, and although a setting is offered, pressing the button does nothing. As I write I’m trying to change the ‘home city’ from Madrid to London, but am finding it impossible to do. Finally, the instruction ‘manual’ is ridiculous. It more resembles a piece of wallpaper (it’s dimensions are simply nuts, it’s huge) whereas a simply designed little booklet, with print of sufficient size that an elderly person can actually read the words, would have been the way to go. To close, in my opinion, phones for the elderly must be a huge market, but manufacturers - by and large - haven’t got a clue. As I say, this phone is the clear leader that I’ve found in my humble, but the settings need work… urgently. Hope all of the above helps someone.

A great phone for older people and easy to use.

Whilst a simple enough phone, the volume is not as loud as it could be and works terribly with my mom’s hearing aids, despite what it states. As this was the reason for the phone I have had to get rid of it.

A very good basic phone for an older person. Really useful to have a stand to charge it. It’s a pity that there is no option to take unlock off. This has caused so many problems.

Se state cercando un telefono che non faccia impazzire i vostri cari, questo Panasonic per anziani è l'ideale. Diciamocelo chiaramente: è progettato per essere facile da usare, punto. ​La cosa migliore è lo schermo, che è bello grande e non vi costringe a strizzare gli occhi per leggere. Niente icone minuscole o menu complicati, solo quello che serve. ​Anche i tasti sono enormi, ben separati e facili da premere—addio dita incrociate e numeri sbagliati! In più, è un telefono che pensa alla sicurezza: ha quel comodissimo tasto SOS sul retro. In caso di bisogno, si schiaccia quello e via con la chiamata d'emergenza. ​Infine, hanno pensato anche alle piccole cose: c'è una torcia integrata, sempre utile quando manca la luce o bisogna cercare qualcosa. Insomma, è un telefono pratico, semplice e fa esattamente quello che promette, senza stress.

Ich habe das Handy zum Telefonieren mir zugelegt, weil auf Dauer ein Smartphone zwar mehr Funktionen und vieles mehr bietet aber zum Telefonieren reicht dieses Handy völlig aus. Für ältere Leute gedacht ist es aber auch für jüngere Menschen durchaus von Interesse. Es verfügt über Bluetooth 3.0 Klasse 2.0 und USB 2.0 das ist für diese Art der Anwendung durchaus ausreichend ist. Ein freispreche Set, ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Eine microSDHC Card bis 32 MB kann als Speicher eingesetzt werden. 5 Stunden Gesprächszeit und 225 Stunden Standby Zeit reichen bei mir am Tag aus. Akku ist wechselbar nicht fest verbaut. Der Klang ist optimal, für die Gegenstelle gibt es keinen Unterschied. Freisprechen ist möglich ohne Headset. Es verfügt über Kurzwahlspeicher SOS Notruf und Taschenlampe. Das Display ist sehr angenehm hell auch bei Tageslicht gut erkennbar. Lautstärke lässt sich an der Seite per Schieberegler steuern. Die Taschenlampe ist oben im Handy verbaut und kann per Taste aufgerufen werden. 5 Notfall Kontakte können gespeichert werden dabei wird automatisch Freisprechen aktiviert. Diese werden nacheinander angerufen bis sich jemand meldet. Robust und ziemlich stoßfest ist mir schon mehrmals unbeschadet heruntergefallen und gestoßen wurden. Die Tasten sind auch mit großen Fingern gut zu erreichen und sind zudem beleuchtet. Lässt sich Stumm schalten gerade in der Nacht. Zumindest viele modernen Merkmale des Mobilfunkanbieters werden unterstützt. Mir gefällt auch die kompakten Abmessungen und das geringe Gewicht lässt sich bestens halten und in der Hosentasche verstauen. Technische Informationen Netze dual Band GSM 900/1800 MHZ in Deutschland und den europäischen Nachbarn sollte es damit laufen. Maximale SAR Werte bei höchster Belastung betragen am Kopf 0,650W/kg am Körper 1,336 W/kg. Klingeltöne sind kein Wunschtraum erfüllen aber ihren Zweck kann man sicher erweitern. Vibrieren ist auch möglich sowie Kopfhörer Profil, wenn man alles über Headset macht. Display in Farbe und gut ablesbar 1,77 Zoll (4,5 cm) QVGA 128 x 160 Pixel ausreichend für die Größe. Vorteil ältere Mini SIM Karten können noch verwendet werden. Kupiłem dziecku zamiast nowego smartfona po utracie pierwszego. Było trochę wierzgania ale się przyzwyczaiło. Zrobiliśmy dzwonek z MP3, wygraliśmy trochę muzyki na kartę i po podłączeniu kablem słuchawek dziecko się nieco uspokoiło. Zero docisk mediów ale jest aparat, który robi coś w rodzaju zdjęć i filmów które są mówiąc wprost bardzo brzydkie. Muzyka jednak leci głośno, smakuje, dzwoni i ładnie wygląda. No i ma nowy rodzaj USB co ważne. Kontakt z dzieckiem załatwiony. Gdyby więcej rodziców szło w tym kierunku, do czego namawiam, byłoby mniej presji negatywnej ze strony innych dzieci w szkole. Tak czy siak dziecko mniej nerwowe choć więcej czasu słucha muzyki.
