The laser itself is perfectly serviceable. The problem is the tripod (which feels really cheap) is absolutely useless beyond the height in which it can extend to. You can lock the levelling system but things will quickly get wonky when you want to tilt the unit to get more height. Instead, buy the option without a tripod and buy a separate tripod that can extend up to 2 meters or something.

Not used it as such but set it up and seems to be straight forward. Vertical and horizontal lines bright and easily seen, not sure how accurate it is but all looks good, tripod not very sturdy but should do the job.

useless - don't waste your money. Bought this a year ago and used it twice - tripod components fall apart nuts have fallen off of the second use! Impossible to level - green light keeps flashing to the point were you will feel conned, want a refund or throw the level in the bin! I am a surveyor by trade and I set up tripods and make them level for the instrumentation to be used daily - I should have known better! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
