I am so glad there are two of these in one package. The dust particles were from the screen protector! No, it wasn't my iPad. I bought my iPad that day. In fact, I bought this screen protector BEFORE I bought my iPad. As soon as I brought it home from the Apple store, I applied my screen protector knowing that the screen was still free from dust. What I didn't expect was the dust on the back of the screen protector, the part where it is peeled away. MAKE SURE YOU WIPE AWAY THE DUST FROM THE BACK OF THE PEEL-AWAY of the screen protector!!! I expected a smooth finish but there were bubbles due to some dust or some weird globs. Then, I checked my second screen protector and noticed on the peel-away, there were some little bits of dust or glue bits balled up. I wiped it with the alcohol pads that were given. Then, I did as the instructions and the second time worked great. No dust and no bubbles! Easy to use and happy!

This is a great product! I watched a video before hand so I knew exactly what to expect. In the past I have had to have my son put screen savers on for me. Because it required precision. This has a tray that you lay the iPad in . The screen saver fits on top just perfect with places to attach it to the tray. Then follow the directions . The most important part is to clean the screen well before applying the screen saver. The cleaning pads come in the kit. My kit had two screens so I can replace it if I ever need to.

Good value, no issues applying to I-Pad, serves its purpose

Application tray makes it nearly impossible to botch a protective screen attachment. Follow the pictorials and prep your tablet, then insert inside of tray with screen cleaned and dust particles cleared, and remove the bottom film and let the hinge mechanism do its alignment process. Once tempered glass screen is attached, wait 10 seconds while clearing any bubbles and then remove the second protective film and you should have a successful install. The whole process was easy to do and now my iPad Air 11 inch M2 2024 has a good quality tempered glass screen protector attached to it. I gave the product 4 stars due to two small imperfections in the tempered glass that looked like air bubbles at first. The imperfections are only noticed when screen is turned off. I do not notice them when screen is emitting a light and or semi dark image. Tempered glass adds additional glare to the iPad. It has very good clarity and does not hinder touch sensitivity. Price point is reasonably good for 2 screen protectors and an application tray.

I previously had another brand on my M2 iPad Air because ESR did not have one available for it at the time. I had a 6th gen iPad with no screen protector but opted for one this time since I know I was going to be using the new Pencil Pro with it. Contents: includes 2 protectors each with its own cleaning kit (wet wipes, removal stickies, microfiber cloth) and an alignment frame. Install: literally took me less than a minute from placing the iPad in the application frame, cleaning the screen then applying the screen protector. The previous protector I had did NOT have any alignment frames that I had to eyeball it on application. I did have maybe 2-3 small dust spots but only visible when I shone a light on the screen when the iPad was off. Otherwise, you couldn’t tell there were spots. I could honestly say the ESR protector is more responsive than my previous one. The pencil glides much better on the screen now and haven’t had a “dead spot” when selecting an area on the screen. Highly recommend and having a second one allows me to install it on another m2 iPad Air or as a backup.

With the screen protector on, I started to notice that some of my touches are not registering if I tapped too lightly. The worst part was trying to swipe up and get to home, as it almost became impossible to do without me trying a bunch of times, pressing down hard, or eventually using the five finger pinch. Writing with the pencil had issues as well. When writing, for example words, if you transition between letters too quick and you didn’t pick up your pencil high enough, when you set it on the screen again, it will result in a line from where you picked it up and where you put it down. This happens regularly (at least the way I write) and is a huge problem if you are taking a lot of notes. Overall, I took off the screen protector and using my IPad became amazing to work with again. Not sure if this is just something you have to put up with when applying a screen protector or if it’s this one specifically as this is the one and only one I am going to get. I would rather pay the 80 for 2 years of AppleCare+ and have no stress about screen cracks or any damage, than have a consistently frustrating time with this screen protector on.
