Surprisingly good. I now have two. See notes. Review updated 2x.
This was bought as a teaching aid for a student driver. So far, the lane departure warning works great, virtual bumper and stop&go reminder are excellent. Collision alarm has only been triggered twice on most sensitive settings. (We all drive conservatively.) Have not had the rear collision or blind spot warnings yet. Spoken alarms are handy. The video is solid, resolution is adequate to record the plate of that maniac psycho cowboy who blasts past you on the highway. The only negative is the mount system. We are in Florida, where it's close to 100F daily in July, and the windshield gets even hotter. The electrostatic release film let go first, then the 3M adhesive that sticks the dashcam to the release film failed. Rear camera adhesive failed also. SO, went to Home Depot to buy a small roll of 3M indoor/outdoor Extreme Hold tape. Stuck both mounts directly to the glass, and problem solved. Just be _sure_ the mount is aligned before you press it on. Overall, this camera seems well worth the $$ for the features involved. Of course, you will get lane departure warnings as you change lanes on a highway, or if it "sees" converging lines that it can't identify in a merge/diverge area near an on-ramp. It's not a genius, and you still need to do a quick head-check before maneuvering in traffic, but it works surprisingly well. Addendum: After 100 days, we bought another for a second car, driven to school by our child. I used the stock adhesive _without_ the release film they supply, and it sticks fine to well-cleaned glass. The audible blind spot warning is handy in dense traffic, and even if you have the audio shut off, red and green LED lights on the bottom corners of the unit give you a visual warning of cars in your blind spots. Overall, the only minor issue is that it occasionally alerts "Watch out for the car ahead" when that car is a safe distance away at a lower speed limit. (I leave it set on Sensitive, as I have a high speed commute,) Perhaps the unit is biased toward highway speeds, where the safe distance warning is accurate. Overall, I guess it's better to err on the conservative side. The "Keep your distance" alert also seems to work well at low speeds, so you don't tap somebody's rear bumper. Performance does not seem to degrade in the rain, which surprised me, since this is purely an optical system. I'm sure that modern radar would be better in a blizzard, but the designers got a lot of stuff right for such a low price. If you know a driver with less experience, or who's attention wanders when they drive, you might find this thing ups the safety factor. If it avoids even one fender bender, it pays for itself.

Impressive Dash Cam with AI Safety features
This dash cam is very impressive with the added AI Drivers Assistance safety features. Although I’m the safety features are not perfect it does function well about 90% of the time. For vehicles without the added drivers assistance features this is a must consider dash cam. It is quite responsive with the blind spot monitoring and the lane keep assist as well as the forward collision warning alarms. Depending on the way the sun hits the camera it may tend to be slightly off point in the accuracy however most of the time it’s right on point. The clarity of the video recording is also very clear and you have the option of syncing the camera to your phone for ease of reviewing footage captured. I highly recommend this dash cam.

My Son is using it for 1 year now.
I bought this dashcam because my son is using the same model. It works as expected and is easy to install and use. I like the ADAS system—it’s a helpful safety feature. I’m not 100% sure about the pedestrian detection, but my wife confirmed that it works because we tested it without me inside the car. Video quality is good, and overall performance is reliable. A solid dashcam for daily driving.

It only works as a camera
Mounted front and back cameras perfectly and connected with app. Lane departure works sporadically and collision warning not at all. More dangerous than not having as it doesn’t give an accurate data. Works only as a camera.

Best camera for your car
I put this in my car recently and I was surprised by how it works. Amazing isn't enough to say, best buy since I bought the first time on Amazon. Easy to download app. Easy to install. But then the great stuff happens. You have so many choices of what you want to see on your monitor. Front camera view. Rear camera view. AI images, your car in lane. Cars to the left or right (avoidance). Front collision warning with as you are stopping behind car distance. Rear collision warning. You have a choice from four different screen modes if you want to see in the monitor camera view front or rear or both. I normally use the AI mode and the rear camera only when backing up. I very highly recommend it. Very highly! Update: I found out that I can use my 8 inch Tablet for a monitor instead of the much smaller S24 cellphone monitor. Got it set up and working. Awesome!

eveything works GREAT.
I freaking love it! I recently got a top-trim car without any BSM or FCW, and that was one of my wants in a car. And I got to say this AI power works WONDERS! It works so well!!! The LDA can get a little annoying because it doesn’t detect your turn signal when you change lanes. The video quality is great in the front, but in the rear, it’s very low. It’s good enough to make out plates, though it was pretty easy to install. Just make sure not to run it over your weatherstripping, as I did, and I found a puddle in the back of my car after some rain. Thank goodness nothing was damaged. I do get to say it is a little pricey, but it’s 100% worth the money.

Hi, I just bought and received Type S T400 dash cam but the power cable CLA does not fit into my car's cigarette socket. It is too big to fix into the socket. I managed to get an installer to provide a socket adapter.

Despite it has great functions. Really supports the driver especially the front crash and it helps in blind spots with acceptable accuracy. BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IN A HOT COUNTRY, NEVER BUY IT. DON’T WASTE THE MONEY. It worked for me ~5 months during in Saudi and once summer started, it was stopped totally. My recommendation: it great device in mild weather only.!! Plug doesn’t fit to my VW car. Unstable and continue falling from the front glass everyday in hot summer, I used double tape to keep it mounted. The final conclusion, the idea is great but a lot of work needs to be done to improve it and be reliable device.
