This is a nice little unit - it behaves exactly the way you'd expect. It has a decent battery life, and the display is easy to read. I find that it's usage allows room for human-error, but at this price point that's to be expected. It's a good option for a pipette filler.

The LABHOUSE pipette controller has been a great addition to our lab. Its wide 0.1–100ml range makes it compatible with nearly all our pipettes and tubes. It is very lightweight and ergonomic, and the clear LCD display makes it easy to monitor the battery and speed settings. The dual drainage modes are also convenient, especially the motorized mode with adjustable speeds for fast and precise work. The handheld controller has a long battery life and has been a reliable tool that boosts both efficiency and accuracy in our daily workflows.

Update:Not usable. The battery self discharge rate is just too high. Even when I fully charge it the battery is completely discharged by the next time I reach for it. And the use time when it is freshly charged is very short.Not sure if I got an outlier or not, but this is something I'd return as defective if I could. This is just not a usable device overall.Original:This is a cute little pipette pump. I've been wanting one for a while for some specific methods I need to use, so I was glad to be able to get this one.Although some reviews have said it's a good value relative to other lab equipment, at the same time it seems a bit pricey since it is just a small manual pump with adjustable negative and positive pressure settings, and no programable volumes like an auto pipette. So it doesn't have fancy electronics. And the battery doesn't last that long.Overall, though, this does what it is supposed to do once you add the appropriate pipette.

To be clear: Everything about this device works fine. It's fairly well made, lightweight, charges quickly, and the screen is bright and easy to read. The manual/powered trigger mechanism works well. However, I would consider this an "Enthusiast" model, not "Pro."To wit: There is no option to precisely control the amount of material aspirated or dispensed. The pipette is clearly marked, but the amounts are solely determined by the user's trigger finger - and thus must be approximate. You will be getting slightly different amounts with every use. Also, though advertised as having 6 speeds, I found it almost impossible to tell the difference between any of them.So again, this product functions well, but it is not precise enough to warrant a "Pro" moniker, or the current price.

My husband has been looking for one of these for a while. He does all this different type of stuff and has been looking for a new one of these. I know zero about it but I know that the one he had previously has been acting up so I scooped it up for him. He was very pleased with the quality and the craftsmanship. He said it's very heavy duty very well made and it's just as nice as his previous name brand one at a fraction of the cost. It came very well packed and secured and everything was perfectly as described in the ad the instructions were easy to read but he said if you're familiar with using one it's super simple and straightforward. He was able to figure this out in no time and he said it more than does the job that it is supposed to do! Definitely functions as intended plenty of power and does everything it is supposed to do. Worth every penny for sure and a solid 10 out of 10

This is a light, user-friendly electronic micropipette with a near all-inclusive kit. The pipette has a touch (soft press) sensitive aspiration / dispense gauge where the user can choose from six levels. The lower the level, the less power (slower aspiration / dispense). The pipette's filter membrane is easily accessable by unscrewing the and removing the aspiration / dispense head. The kit includes two additional membranes for convenience. An assortment of tips can be used, including Pasteur for an array of microbiological / biological / molecular applications. The aspirating and dispensing buttons are easy on the hands to prevent premature fatigue. This is also a rechargeable unit.Although the pipette is gauged within a 100 microliter to 100 milliliter range, there is no set volume dial. This means you must constantly observe what you aspirate - this is not a set it an forget it model. Just a little tedious. Overall, it works!
