Silverlit 84703 - My first helicopter-Red

I was quite sceptical about this buts it's great. It is smaller than I anticipated and looks flimsy but is actually really robust and has coped well with numerous flights in to the ceiling and walls. It took a few attempts for my children 4 and 6 years old to get the knack of flying this but are doing well with it now . The batteries in the remote control have lasted well. And the helicopter charges from that . I think the helicopter charge lasts about 20 mins but my boys love it so much they are too impatient to wait for it to charge properly so this is only an estimated. Overall though this has well exceeded my expectations!

Terribly disappointing! Birthday present for my 5 year old. Doesn’t work. Crashes as soon as it takes off - if it takes off. We have had a similar toy before and it’s really nowhere near the quality.

Got this for our 4 Yr old boy as he was desparate for a rc plane or helicopter.Basically it flies with 4 buttons. One makes it takes off, one turns it on its axis (right I think) one makes it land and one is an emergency landing.When it takes off it flies forward slowly, and then it's down to you to keep it from heading in to trouble.The downsides are as follows:it flys forward a little too quickly, (think... crawling baby speed!) it's by no means fast but you will need a good 4x4m space with no obstructions to have any fun.It also only turns one way which is kind confusing for anyone, let alone a little kid... Getting used to turning 240 degrees to go left, isn't easy.Then there is no way to make it hover on the spot, which really should be the default I think. In fact when I got it I actually thought it only went up and down and span on the spot.Good points:The sound effects are real hit.the controller makes chopper noises and various other landing sounds etcIt's pretty robust... It take ALOT of knocks.It charges quite quickly and lasts a good 5 minutes of flying. Which may not be a lot, but it's quite an intense 5 mins!You'll need a break after 5 minutes of keeping the pets safe.

Great toy simple to use

I bought this for my 3 year old son. It’s a fantastic toy, very easy to use and very durable. Very happy with it.

In the advertising video this looks perfect unfortunately I tested it, it only has one turn right button one take off button one land button and one emergency stop button controlling it is impossible for me a grandfather of my grandson whom it was for.

It is a very great helicopter. My kids really like it, the most precious present they got. It is very durable, hits plenty of things but still running well. Really good price for its functions and durability. Although it is stated that its suitable as from very young age, the propeller is very powerfull which if touched can be dangerous. The other down is the helicopter battery drops very fast and can only be charger from the remote.
