No more diary style planners for me. The most I would get out of those was maybe 6 weeks - intermittently! This planner is exactly what I need. All the information for the current week available to view, space for notes and longer term goals and ongoing projects. No overwhelm, and no shame of looking at to-do lists not done or weeks/months unused. I have been able to use this consistently every week for 2-3 months. If you are a visual person like me, then give this a go! The fact that I can just look over and see the week at a glance is awesome. I have even been able to plan more relaxed days after I have a bunch of deadline tasks, and prioritize better to balance my workload and try to avoid so many burnout days. Tip: I write out the week in a regular ink color (usual tasks/appointments and any carried over), and then each day I use a different color (Hello G2's!) to circle the date, check off done tasks, and write in new ones. It helps to stop everything from blending together.

I have purchased these several years in a row now because they are perfect. The paper is nice and thick, the spiral binding flips easily, and they have a good amount of space to write things. I like this so much more than a traditional to-do list because I’m often thinking of to-do items that I need to do on a specific day…like mail a letter on Wednesday and take the garbage tote down on Friday. This allows me to note my to-dos on the day I need to actually do them rather than on a running list.

I also noticed I get things done more when consistently writing out my schedule every week!
