This device has saved us so much time and money ...
This device has saved us so much time and money. My only regret is that I didn't buy it a couple of years ago when I first see it advertised. Noe I used it a few time and I'm familiar with the way it works, i can do a 16" chain in around 15 min on the job, you would not believe how handy this can be.

Excellent Easy To Use Sharpener
I think this is simply brilliant. Set up as per instructions my chains cut like new after sharpening. It's important to read the instructions carefully and think about what you are doing, there are videos on youtube as well. Yes it is expensive, though I didn't buy on Amazon and found it quite a bit cheaper elsewhere it still cost a fair bit, but for me it was well worth the money, if I lost it I'd buy another. tomorrow. Takes about 15 minutes or so to sharpen an 18" chain, and is simple to use in the field. It also makes it easy to keep your cutters the same length. I had two old chains which had their cutters damaged by contact with embedded stones, and after several attempts at filing still cut in a curve. Sharpening them carefully with this resulted in both cutting well and true.
