For the price point this is pretty packed with features to juice this as far as it can go. Stereo speakers, turn the volume down below 20% and it becomes a mono speaker if you prefer that for extra quiet. I prefer it on the volume just above that. Turn reverb on, turn sustain on, and this is the important key feature, use the "Layer" feature and mix in a sustained synth or a chimey bell, play chords and this will sound way better than price point would ever expect. The sound is well tuned for the plastic bodies resonance, though on headphones it can be a little sharp as a result. Can not really do bass, it can go octave down but really it can not even if you listen to it with headphones. Octave up sounds great.

Trust this review! I'm the guy who made the mistake of going the cheap route at first and bought the "China-special", when I should have ponied-up the extra dough for this quality little Casio.
