6⭐series in all! This series had med feeling all the feels! What a journey, when i first started this book series i was wondering how we could follow the same characters for 3 books without it getting boring! And i can promise you one thing, this one never got boring! The journey we get to read about here, the heartache, the love!!!! I have no words, i just loved this series soooo much! I never wanted this story to end, cause i loved it so much! The found family in this book is unreal, i love how one of my favorite characters ended up being someone from the psych ward!!! I cried sooo much, never felt anything like this for any characters before! I need more of this!!!! Also heard the audiobook is supposed to be really good with a full cast, so i might do a "relisten", cause i love med a good audiobook!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 for this whole series! What a captivating and tortuous story that I could not put down. It was absolutely devestating and dark while being epically beautiful and soul crushing. This is one of those series where, in the end, you just have to sit with yourself for a bit and wonder how the world around you is just the same. I think I felt every emotion throughout these series. Sometimes I sobbed, my heart often beat faster, some pieces were delicious and made me wish for my own Kade Mitchell. I'm not sure I will ever get over this series, and I love that there is some intertwine with the Little Stranger duet, although I wish I had read this first. Also, I'm so happy I read Psychotic Obsession first. I highly recommend reading it first to have that extra layer of understanding and context. Beautifully written, amazing plotline, to die for characters and spice, heartbreaking themes and triggers (take care of yourself), and a soul squeezing hea.

Rating: 5/5 Spice Rating: 4/5 Words cannot express how much I have loved reading this series. Each of these books have brought so much emotion. I cried, I laughed, I got angry, you name it! Stacey and Kade have such a hard life and have to fight to survive. I have never read such beautifully tragic, broken characters. Each character brought so much to their story. They are moments that lured me into a sense of comfort and BAM, a curveball you didn't see coming that wrecks you. Voracious and Restitution are definitely the roughest to get through. I even had a cry count! If you are a dark romance reader this series is an absolute must read. 5 star trilogy no doubt about it. The side characters are so easily likeable especially Base! I need his book like ASAP. The friendship him and Kade have is so beautiful and that is the kind of friend that lasts a lifetime. And I love Tobias. Yes he is a psychopath but he would do anything to protect his family. This series and book do end in with an HEA but just know it is HARD FOUGHT to get to. Kade and Stacey have always been in survival mode. Even when things seem to calm down both of them have have so much trauma to work through and it has left a lasting affect on their minds especially Kade. They love each other so much and just want to protect each other. I was so invested in their story and so happy they found light in their dark lives in the end.

O MY WORD!! I kept seeing Leigh Rivers in my feed and she did NOT disappoint! I devoured the Edge Of Darkness trilogy in no time. From Insatiable to Voracious and Restitution, this series perfectly explores morally gray obsession, trauma, addiction, and dark revenge. It’s raw, emotional, and so beautifully twisted, each book even better than the last. Kade and Stacey. I don't think I will ever forget these two! What a trilogy!!! What a ride!! What a phenomenal epic story of enduring love, tragedy, forgiveness, trauma, overcoming evil, resilience, healing, and also darkness. One of the best series I’ve read and will forever stay in my heart. I don’t know if I’ll ever not cry when I think of them but it’s not just sadness it’s happiness. It’s a dark beautiful story of devastation and triumph. Please read trigger warnings. 5 huge gold stars!!

Great ending with finally after all that a HEA. Devastating beautifull and highly recommend this series.

The five stars given above, are for Kade and Stacey. It hurts me to think about what they’ve been through. The entire trilogy was so gripping, sad, devastating, but yet so so so good. I left a piece of me in this trilogy. And I hope that somewhere, Kade and Stacey are still living their lives without fear and with endless re runs of the greatest showman. I am obsessed with this series, I was so worried when I started this that it would be hard to live up to the hype all over booktok and bookstagram but I can definitely see why it is so popular, I ATE THIS UP. Back to back, binge read the entire series. I wish it would never end. Kade is everything! All the feelings, this series takes you on the ultimate roller coaster ride. Kade is the sweetest psychopath, he is officially my baby. One of my all time top favourite book boyfriends. Stacy is so strong and still so kind despite everything she goes through. No notes, I am in love with all the side characters and hope that every single one of them gets their own book. I can’t wait to read daddy Tobias story. I really, really hope Base and Lu get their own book.
