These speakers are so cool. You can use them as stand alone speakers if you don't mind that the sound isn't great and kind of tinny. BUT when you put these little guys on something hollow the sound change (and volume) is amazing. Even just putting them on my desk surface was good enough. A simple cardboard box became a sound cannon. Trying different items out is going to be fun to see what works better than other things. I even have an idea for a piece of PVC. Great for tinkering with. Small and very portable. My only gripe is I cannot get the lanyards loop to feed through correctly. The hole is open to the speaker innards so the loop doesn't come out the side to slipknot attached the lanyard. Nothing some tweezers or a small wire can't fix though.

How many different kinds of mini-Bluetooth speakers are on the market? Too many to answer (at least for me), and the shakeout of junk brands will continue as we progress through the 2020s. What I love about these in addition to the descent sound quality for their size it that they can be paired as a stereo audio "array" (AND that I don't have to RE-pair the two to a known host after doing it once). Excellent for podcasts while working around a room. 2024-12-22.

One of these little dudes has been parked in my shower since I got it months ago. I've had zero issues. I can't speak on the range, since it's paired to my phone (also in the restroom). The clarity is good, a little "tin-y" for audio books. (I've yet to hear a small speaker that wasn't). Great buy for the price!

If you like to listen to audio books on your kindle, this is NOT the product for you. It's what I got these for and the kindle has such a hard time connecting to them, even individually. Forget about using the stereo mode. It will connect individually only, but only about 5% of the time. There are times that it will connect outside of that 5% but will act as if it isn't. Giving it three stars cuz they're tiny and cute and work otherwise, just not for what I got them for.

The batteries do not last very long at all. I think they might be old. However, keep them plugged in to a battery backup or turbo wall pack and they are excellent. Wish they would connect with another set for surround sound though. The app they suggest has been taken off of Google Play.

I ordered these and am using one as a shower speaker. So far, the one I'm using holds a charge well, has very clear audio, and has sufficient volume for such a tiny device. Highly recommended.

Great little speakers, nice sound. If a music sound freak this may not be to your level. Great for small group in a cabin cruiser or campsite that doesn't invade onto others.
