Camelbak Chute Mag Water Bottle Magnetic Cap

It's a nice sturdy plastic bottle that's easy to carry and refill and drink from. There's not really much else you can really say about it, truly. It's a decent capacity for day to day use, fits in most gym bottle holders and is portable and neutral enough to be carried pretty much anywhere. It has a few leak problems (I think it's more water getting stuck in the threading of the bottle than actual leak problems though) sometimes after refilling but those are minor, at least from my point of view, especially if you tighten it accordingly. I don't see the point of the magnetic function though, honestly. Most of the time it barely sticks to the lid to hold it out of the way, especially if you don't take the time to smooth it down so it is flush against the magnetic surface (that's just added effort I don't care for, really) and so if you don't take the time to do that and you just want to drink, the lid will end up bonking you on the nose while you chug. It's a minor gripe and not really an issue but I figured I'd mention it considering the magnetic stuff is apparently the major gimmick of this bottle. At least you won't lose the lid since it's permanently attached, eh? Altogether though it's a good bottle, hard wearing, heavy duty, thick lid that can be tightened nicely, and the cap is also very secure and not threaded but rather tightened into place which is very good, takes a little bit of getting used to initially but once you suss it it's good, you can achieve the same cap tightness / secureness from a regular threaded cap after some dudebro tightens it as hard as he can with barely any effort on your part with the cap on this bottle and it opens with just as little effort too. I like it, anyway.

I've loved the Chute for many years. Absolute genius design and I still use the one I bought in 2017(?). However, I needed a spare and was interested in the upgraded MagChute. I thought it was going to be a magnetic closure instead of the screw top. I was a bit disappointed that the magnetic bit is to hold the lid while you're drinking. Ah well. The MagChute is an excellent water bottle that will hydrate you as fast as you can swallow. It's dishwasher safe, tough and robust. I even use it with warm (NOWHERE NEAR boiling) water in cold weather. It doesn't keep the heat that long but it is tough. If you're an outdoors type, wrap some duct tape around the bottle and you've got some handy fix-it stuff. Was the bottle and the glue residue goes easily. The carry loop is super tough. These bottles last really well. When my old bottle eventually goes, if it's the cap, I'll be getting the MagChute cap upgrade. Happy to recommend.

Nice bottle with a superb capacity and locking lid - it hasn’t leaked once. The design could be improved by tapering the size towards the base - whilst it’s great for stability, the large circumference means some cup holders are off limits!

Great quality bottle, me and the Mrs both steal it from one another to take to work. I may have to give in and buy her one of her own

Bought this when my old camelbak wore out (the plastic on the lid started oozing) after years. This is as good as the old one, the bottle holds enough water and the spout easy to drink from. This lid doesn't have the flimsy cable holding it on but clips to a magnet to keep it out of the way. This works well, though I have been carrying it away from my laptop to protect the hard drive! Goes in the dishwasher. Does not leak, though sometimes I get a bit of water caught under the thread.

OK, so the headline sounds a bit weird, but having gone through a few different bottles in the past, including the Camelbak Eddy and Podium, this is by far the best one I've had for everyday use at home, at work and in the gym. It's the little things that make the difference. Firstly, it is easy to clean. This is why I was looking to replace my Eddy, where the rubber bit was not easy. Then there are the little design features; the magnetic cap, which keeps it from falling into your face; the ergonomic spout, which feels just right when you drink. The size may not be for everyone; personally I like not having to fill up the bottle as often, but then it is bigger and heavier than the 750ml bottle. The measure of success for this bottle? I am trying to increase my water intake over the summer months; today I drank 4 litres of water, without even thinking about it...

This bottle has a wide mouth making it easy to drink from. The hard plastic design is quite robust & ideal for carrying in a pouch attached to the shoulder strap of a daysac. I've found that with the soft plastic SIS bottle, pressure on the sides when attached to the pouch on my shoulder strap forces liquid up into the nozzle & I get a leak. I don't have that problem with this bottle.

Para quem entende a importância de ter água em boa qualidade e sem vazamentos, essa garrafa é perfeita, ela chega a ser 'tecnica'. Situações de offroad, trilhas, deslocamentos com poucas paradas são exemplos. O plasti da tampa e corpo são de uma qualidade incrível, creio que vai durar anos. A tampa é de rosca e não deixa vazar nada, o item magnético pra prender ela é uma sacada interessante, mas não é um item que determine a compra. Compre pela qualidade e confiabilidade do produto.

El botellín lo utilizo para beber agua en el trabajo. Al mes de uso apareció una pequeña grieta en la goma que sujeta el tapón. A los dos días de notificarlo me repusieron el bidón. Cumple al 100% mis expectativas.

Easy to use and to know how much water I drink. I use the bottle every day since I got it. I adding lemon juice and a bit if salt to the water. The color "Sea Glass" that I chose is not the same I got, it much more intense and much darker, more like turquoise, but I already got to like this color. Not only because the lid has magnet I like it, but also that it clicks nicely on the bottleneck, just covering it and stays in place, and I don't need to screw and unscrew it each time I use it. I only screw the lid when I'm on the go.

Thank goodness for this water bottle. I love that the part you drink out of is totally covered by the cap, but the cap stays attached to the bottle when open. I love that it has a caribener-friendly loop on the cap. I LOVE that it is dishwasher safe. And this size fits in a cup holder in your car. Zero objections, five stars.
