Great toy but also educational for simple coding activities

This has been a great home ed resource and my daughter loves it. The quality is good and works really well. Love that it is has a usb cable for charging. You code the directions of the mouse using the arrow keys and then you press the go button and watch him follow out your coding instructions.

We gave this to our grandson on his fourth birthday and he loves it. Has learned to programme it himself.

Got this for a young relative to get him into ‘coding’ early. This code mouse comes with a USB-C cable for charging, a set of cards for directions and a set of instructions. At its core, this is very basic coding skills and it has great educational value in getting kids to learn this stuff early. The mouse is super easy to use and is easily charged via USB-C. You can also choose to get him to run at normal speed or ‘hyper’ speed. I didn’t think there was that much difference to be honest! The buttons on top tell the rodent what to do. You can press to move forward, backwards, turn left, turn right or perform an action where he chooses to do something wacky like make a noise or scuttle backwards and forwards. You press the buttons to program in what you want him to do and then press the central ‘Go’ button to watch him follow your coding instructions. You can use the cards to help choose programming or build your own little maze for the coding child genius to try and work his way out of. Overall, I’m really happy with this coding mouse. It introduces fundamental programming skills in a fun and easy to learn way and it’s great to see the mouse following your commands. He even works on carpet!

This is a well thought out toy from Learning Resources. Good quality build, the mouse is robust, a nice weight not lightweight. Rechargeable which is always great. Works well, needs patience but then that's part of the experience. Comes with comprehensive instructions booklet, this is a fun and educational toy, great value for money.

This is one of those things that is constructed well and does what it says it'll do, so I don't feel as though I can rate this too low, but ultimately I don't think that this is this worth the current price as it just doesn't hold our youngsters focus for long. If the pricing was more competitive, I'd definitely go up a star.

Arrived on time no problems there. Item is as discribed, good quality, works as it should, fit for purpose, have no problems with it at all thank you.

This should get no stars really. It was for my four year old nephew for Christmas, and was broken out of the box. One of the wheels doesn’t work, or repeatedly jams, so the mouse won’t actually complete the function it was designed for. One incredibly disappointed little boy.

Perfect for kindergarten students learning to code

Direction imprécise. NE TOURNE PAS à 90° (très approximatif et variable). Dans ces conditions, impossible de programmer un parcours. La souris ne va pas précisément là où elle devrait aller. J'ai retourné l'appareil, j'ai au reçu un autre... c'était encore pire! Vraiment décevant, même si c'est fun pour les enfants...tant qu'ils n'essaient pas de créer un parcours précis :((
