Great quality and excellent sound

The TV looks sleek and bezel-less. The colours reproduced are very pleasing to the eye. Sony has custom profiles for Dolby Vision HDR content which is good. Sound quality is great and the remote is minimalistic. Google TV is fully loaded with recommendations and seamlessly connects to your Google Account. The TV supports AirPlay and is good for streaming from your iPhone. Overall a great offering from Sony!

Excellent installation service. Good product

This is a great value for money Sony experience. The picture resolution is brilliant and the cinema mode is perfect for movie lovers. The sound will be better if used through the soundbar for that rich bass experience. Highly recommend this product

The TV as usual is awesome! But the installation experience was horrible. It took them almost 2 weeks to come for installation after the delivery. I expected Sony to be solid in service. Reducing 1 star for service.

This is my 3rd Sony TV in addition with Sony R402A(using from 13 years) and Sony W752D( using from 8 years with Motion Flow XR200), no single issue faced so far in them. Though being existing customer I was anticipating new TV feedback call from Sony India Head customer care which I got on Sunday 20th October, and I have asked them some points which all my fellow Sony S30B and S30 buyers on Amazon reviews has raised. So they arranged Sony technician expert call and I am explaining those points below :- Motion Flow and Difference between S30B and S30:- first of all I am already using XR 200 motion flow TV from 8 years, it refer to increasing smoothness of low resolution videos or very fast moving objects by adding frames to reduce bluriness , if you are watching above 720P videos, like full HD or 4K videos there is not much use of motion flow as frames per second(FPS is equal to or more than 24FPS), in fact watching high resolution videos with motion flow feature turned on will give you “soap opera effect” which will ruin your movie or app Tv shows experience(you can turn off motion flow when not needed by changing motion setting, smoothness to 1 and clearness to max to remove soap opera effects), answer i got was S30B is online available model only and S30 both online and offline , and in general use you won’t differ motion flow between both TVs. So if you want to buy S30 by paying 3k to 8k extra you can or if you go with S30B both are good decisions, but you won’t get noticeable changes between the two. Please see video I have added and last 1 minute video of car race and check if you can catch any motion blur ! FPS drop or some lag while playing videos:?- it depends upon internet speed , video resolution you are playing means in auto mode or manual selected mode, best way to check is Netflix info mode on with 4K resolution, I have added video as well for first 1:24 you can check Tv is continuously playing 2160p HDR Dolby vision with max brightness at 17.33 Mpbs and there is no lag. Another way to check is through usb play where app or internet doesn’t play any role in FPS drop or lag. Sound : my personal opinion is don’t expect from any TV to give you sound like soundbar and this TV sound is great and you can hear dialogues and music clearly every beat or drum sound. Warranty for S30B is 2 years. Let’s come to best part of this TV :- Picture Quality:- excellent picture quality, no doubt in Sony TVs about that, life like and accurate color reproduction. It can beat other brand TVs mini led local dimming TVs. Dolby Vision :- TV detects automatically if any content supports Dolby vision and there is “Noticeable” clarity between Dolby vision videos and other TVs without Dolby vision videos. Picture Upscaling with 4K xreality pro :- Sony gives best in TV segment upscaling of SD and 720P TV channels , it feels like watching so clear and premium content Conclusion:- it’s purely one’s choice according to their preferences and budget which TV and features they want . But it’s reviews these days that helps us buying the right product, so finally, try to find any Sony TV with below 4.4 or 4.5 ratings or try to find any other brand TVs with minimum 4.5 star or above star rating ;-) , thank you for reading !

After a lot of research, decided to go for this TV. I saw many 1 star reviews in Amazon itself. It was confusing and concerning to see those considering how highly rated Sony TVs are. First thing I searched is about their service. I received positive feedbacks from people I know and committed to this TV afterwards. 4K videos are crisp and clear. Display is really bright. I expected low sound because it says 20W. But it actually surprised me because it is indeed very loud if in full volume. But for bass you may need other system. Bass is just okay. Reasonable. There are multiple connectivity options and that side is well taken care of. I was in confusion about going higher or lower in size. But 55in is perfectly fitting for my living room. Happy with that decision as well. There are some minor hiccups in UI. I will need to use more and see how it turns out. Right now the TV has just been setup. The service person who came for installation was very friendly and knowledgeable. Always happy to see such personnel. Overall a good choice if you have the budget for it. Happy with the purchase.
