This Game is Killer, Party Board Game, for 3 to 10 Players and Ages 14+, Smirk & Dagger

This is an excellent quick party game. It's co-op with a twist, the twist being that you don't have to sit around and plot some big strategy to try and win. No, you have to work in secret and try to survive, and you're just as likely to accidentally kill another player as move into the wrong room. Inspired by the movie Alien, you and your crew are trying to survive the monster that's hunting you. You only have two cards and two decisions each turn. Each card has a location to go to and an action to perform. If you perform the action on one card, you're obligated to move to the location on the other or vice versa. That's the first decision. The second is whether you play your action first, revealing to everyone after you what you intend to do. Or you play your location first, revealing to everyone after you where you'll be. But whoops, you just went to the shuttle bay and the next player reveals the shuttle bay is going to explode. You don't have long enough to be upset. Just play again. The great thing is the game automates the monster through a simple system. This game is easy to play for multiple ages, but reading ability is required (or someone will need to assist younger players). I've successfully played with an 8 year old. No foul language or anything too mature (assuming your kids are fine with knowing people die if they get shot or blown up by explosives). The cards have a shadow of an alien monster on them, but otherwise there's no scary images or bloody depictions.

This game was very fun! You are all cooperating to kill the invisible alien, but potentially at the accidental (or on purpose) cost of some of your friends' lives as you risk killing them as well. It's a small, lightweight game so you're on a new round within 10 minutes. The only downside is the action/role cards do get old if you play it often and start to know what they are - we aren't fans of this, so we ultimately returned the game.

Awesome fun that doesn't take very long to play.

I thought this was going to be like the Who's the Werewolf game but I was pleasantly surprised it was its own quick game. It's kinda' co-op so it's fun without drama or heavy thinking and hilarious. Easy to learn and get running. The great thing is that it's a short game (about 10 min per game) and you can play with just a couple people though with more people it gets more fun, so it was perfect for us to play between the big games (and to clean our game palattes). It's pretty genius like taking the best of several games in one. After playing it I had to order one for home.

game is quick to set up and immediately jump in, die, and restart the next game! The materials are perfect for traveling. The board comes rolled up and is made up of mousepad materials. Few cards shuffled up and you are ready to go! complexity is 1/5. perfect for younger gamers or players who dont often get into board games. its so simple you almost want an expansion or something to add to it to make it more "gamey" than it is mostly luck.

Great party game, very thematic, lots of tension and laughs

This game is absolutely incredible! Played a few rounds at my friends house, and had so much fun I had to hunt down a copy for myself. My family love playing it. It's quick and easy to learn, but so much fun you'll find yourself saying "okay, just one more round" for the tenth time in a row!

Fun game. You can play it solo as well. Great for fans of Alien and party games
