I purchased this monitor during a Black Friday sale, and for the money, I don't think I could've gotten a better 1080p monitor. It was purchased as a gift, so I'm not looking at it constantly, but the occasional glances I see of it look really nice. I'm pretty loyal to Samsung monitors for my own setup after using 2 great ones over the last 12 or so years, but after hearing a lot about LG's really nice IPS panels, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! I got this monitor at a really good price, and for the money, it's extremely solid. Colors are crisp and dense, the screen gets fairly bright, and the high refresh rate is nice (although a bit overkill for my predominantly cozy game-playing gf). Being the one who installed it onto a dual-monitor arm, installation was a breeze. The VESA mount is really solid on the back, and it's light enough that the monitor can support it without much strain. I did not use the desk stand since it was mounted to an arm, but I was especially impressed by the heavy and very solid-feeling metal components of the base and connector. Overall, this is a really nice budget gaming monitor that you won't regret buying, and I feel like it'll hold up for a long time.

Plays nice with HDR and my nvidia card. Display port & HDMI perfect, but I'll always suggest display port. Quality & Refresh Rate is Sharp and Snappy as expected. Going strong after 9 months of extended daily use. I selected this one because I intentionally did not want speakers in my display, but I still wanted a high refresh rate without breaking into 4K resolution territory. No regrets!

Great way to level up your gaming experience. 120fps and runs perfect. It’s decent for the price, and you can never go wrong with LG. I went from a slow 60fps big screen TV to this and the difference is significant.

Nice monitor, two gripes. 1. None of the expected control buttons exist, nor is there even a single page insert telling where such might be. Feel around the bottom center; there's a joystick there. Push in, menu comes up. Even given low margins on monitors, a few sheets of paper wouldn't have made much of a dent. 2. Default setting is some level of energy saving, which turns the overall brightness down if the image is, on whole, dark. Gaming, that is a bit of a hassle, as it also makes the menus and button rows dim. It can be reduced in intensity or disabled, but it is a bit disconcerting until you figure out why your brand-new monitor is suddenly going dim.

It's a monitor with good features. That said, in my personal opinion, I think it's a good purchase for the price and the features it offers. However, there are certain things that could be improved. For example, the ports are too limited, as it only has two: HDMI and DisplayPort. This means I constantly have to plug and unplug the HDMI cable whenever I want to switch between my PC and Xbox, which is a bit inconvenient. Another point is that the monitor doesn't have built-in speakers. This doesn't make it a bad monitor, but it's on me for not researching this detail more thoroughly beforehand. Those would be the negatives. On the positive side, the panel is excellent, and the refresh rate it supports makes it a great buy. My panel doesn’t have any backlight bleeding, which I’m very happy with.

I wanted an inexpensive monitor to pair up with my 34" ultra wide, both for work, but also to play video games on it. Good brighness and picture quality! I'm happy with it!

Very nice monitors for the price. Controls are a little tricky but i was able to turn on HDR function. Upgraded from old lcd monitors. Switching inputs is simple.

This is an amazing monitor that has lasted very well even after a year of daily use for work, gaming, and content consumption. The brightness is good and it truly is 180 hz. Never had an issue with G-Sync, love using this monitor to game, never had any issues with connection either.

I replaced a 144Hz VA monitor from Samsung with this, and so far I am definitely not regretting it. Probably one of the best gaming monitors for its value out there, and I haven't seen any issues with the screen in terms of ghosting, dead pixels, or other known issues happening with gaming monitors out there. Can't say much about the colours, though, as the only direct comparison I have would be the Samsung monitor I replaced. Nevertheless, definitely a good purchase and I highly recommend.
