Works on 2022 palisade
Works great with 3rd party apps. Reads abs, tcm, and ecm codes on my 2022 hyundai palisade. Not too bad for 30 bucks. And 5 bucks for the 3rd party app.

Love the BT, Lots of Apps, Somewhat Complicated Setup
Okay, I admit it: I am a car guy and a gadget freak, which is why I love this ODB2 scanner. Boy, have things evolved since my first device, which required saving data to onboard memory and then connecting it to my PC. With this great product, I grab a compatible app and connect it to the device via BT. An astonishing amount of vehicle data is mine to explore! The scanner itself is well-made, and the instructions are acceptable, but they contribute to a harder-than-necessary setup. More on that momentarily. The first step is to select your smartphone app. The scanner has a small booklet listing 19 apps and their QR codes. Some are vehicle-specific, like the AlfaODB. Which should you pick? I rolled the dice and selected the first one, Car Scanner ELM327 OBD2. Here's where things become quirky. Scanning the QR code doesn't take you to the App Store (I have an iPhone), only to a Vgate forum page about the app. There is no sign of a connection to download the app. So, I copy-pasted the app name into the App Store search bar and got a slew of results, none of which had the exact name. Rolling the dice again, I selected one with the closest match and installed it. See what I mean about it being more complicated than necessary? Finally ready, I took the scanner, its quick start guide, and my iPhone and headed to the car. The instructions say to start the car, install the scanner, and look for the BT device name (Android-Vlink)in the BT Settings. Oops! That's where I hit another snag--the device name in the instructions appears nowhere. Not to be stymied, I decided to connect through the app. I hurried through the configuration and setup until I found the connection details. By blind luck, I clicked all the right choices, and my shiny new scanner/app combo sprang to life with lots of cool graphics and data! As an aside, I always left my original OBD2 scanner plugged in. There's no mention of whether or not I should leave this one plugged in or plug it in each time I want to use it. I'm going with always leaving it in because crawling up under the dash each time is not how I want to use the device. After getting connected, I came in to write the review. During that process, I revisited the Vlink Forum page and discovered that it provided detailed instructions on how to do what I had done on the fly. So, that is what the page is for! The bottom line is this: I love the new scanner and the app interface and look forward to having expansive diagnostic power at my fingertips. You can't beat this one if you've been looking for an OBD2 Scanner. When you select your app (some are paid, like mine), make sure you walk through the corresponding Vlink Forum page. You'll save yourself some time:>)

Cost effective, works well
Works great with the Torque app. All of this is by far superior to my old handheld OBD2 scanner.

Agrees with my BAFX wifi OBD2 Adapter
I was able to get a Bluetooth connection to my iPad and iPhone easily. Note that I didn't get an indication that I was connected to the adapter in my devices, but it did indicate a connection in my OBD2 application. It's indicated in the instruction booklet that this will be so. I use "OBD Fusion" as my application. I'm a DIY mechanic whenever possible. But I haven't fooled with using all the diagnostic capabilities of the application because if you don't know what you are doing you can screw up your system. I used the OBD2 to get the error code that my car was putting out when I got the check engine warning light come on in my dashboard. The error code was P0455. Searching online, a P0455 indicates a "System Gross Leak Evaporative Emission". Further investigation indicated that it could be the gas cap leaking among a number of other possibilities. I cleaned the gas cap thoroughly with WD40 and then put some Super Lube silicone O-Ring lubricant on the rubber gasket inside the cap. I then use the OBD2 to clear the error code so that I could determine if I fixed the problem. I got lucky. After driving a few hundred miles, the engine warning light hasn't come back on. This adapter comes in a really beautiful little box - it has a magnetic latch on it. I never saw that before.

Disappointed
After updating the device using developer’s software, it stopped working. Told this to the seller without any solution. Not worth buying.

Nice fast, stable BT Diag Scan tool for EV's
Nice fast, stable BT Diag Scan tool for EV's vLinker has a great reputation for quick stable OBD connectivity with rapid PID Data update rates. This adapter is no different, but it's developed for EV diagnostic purposes. Also, as is expected from vLinker, it has a nicely designed, sleek, rugged housing.
