For the price excellent value but it does require a few small tweaks
This product is solidly built with heavy-duty aluminum construction. While the sheet metal itself is somewhat thin, the overall design feels robust and well thought out. One major positive is the absence of plastic gears there are no gears to crush, strip, or slip under load. All of the force appears to be transferred directly to the bearings, which inspires confidence in long-term durability. From a maintenance standpoint, the design is straightforward. If needed, the bearings should be easy to service with a simple cleaning using isopropyl alcohol followed by lubrication with a heavy duty grease. Tolerances are tight, gaps are minimal, and the adjustable height adds to the overall reliability. As long as it’s used reasonably avoiding very high speeds or attempting to grind excessive amounts of grain at once it should hold up well over time, especially at this price point. The only potential improvement I can see involves the fisheye bolts that secure the rollers. If these aren’t tightened adequately or don’t have enough friction, slippage could occur. That said, this is an easy fix. Stepping up the bolt size or making a minor adjustment with readily available hardware should eliminate the issue entirely. This isn’t quite a “buy it and forget it” product it’s more of a “buy it, make a couple small tweaks, and enjoy it” kind of purchase. The foundation is strong, and with minimal modification, it performs very well. Even significantly more expensive two roller systems often require running grain through twice, so for an $85 unit, this represents excellent value. One additional note: the bolts needed to mount the grinder to a metal or wood base are included. If longer bolts are required for a custom setup, they’re easy to match and replace at any hardware store. Overall, this is a well-priced, capable grinder with solid construction that rewards light customization. With a few minor adjustments, it can be used confidently and extensively.

Great homebrew mill!
Great deal on this little bucket top mill. Its a 2 roller mill, and has so far ground over 100 pounds of grain for my brew days. Take your time when setting it up, use a feeler gauge to set your rollers - I have mine set at .030" for BIAB and it works perfectly. With a cordless drill running at about 3/4 speed, I grind 10ish pounds of grain in less than a minute. I feel like people who are having issues are running flaked grain though it, which will definitely get stuck and cause problems. Don't run flaked corn thru it. It goes together quickly, and it holds up. As long as you don't expect this to be an industrial strength design, you'll be happy with it.

Impressed with this Barley Crusher clone
At first I was a little hesitant to buy what is quite clearly a foreign made, no name, grain mill. It's obvious by the bad sentence structure on the label that this thing is probably Chinese. I figured that I would have to adjust the holes in the hopper to fit, but, this thing really surprised me. I've been a home brewer for many years, I built my first grain mill out of a pasta roller and I used the hell out of it until it finally had seen it's last brew day. So, on to Amazon I go and I find this for just over $100.00, it looks exactly like the Barley Crusher but under a different name. I imagined if there were any issues I could make it work for long enough to find a better version in the classified ad sections on some forums, but, wow am I impressed with this thing! There was one minor hiccup when we went to mill the grain for our brew day today, whoever assembled it at the factory put the drive roller in backwards. When we went to mill the grain, we hit the trigger on the drill and the screwed-in drive shaft spun out, so, evaluating the situation I discovered that the drive roller was backwards, easy fix. So I grabbed a screw driver and pliers and quickly undid the screws, flipped the drive roller around to be oriented the other way, and re-assembled. Less than 10 minutes to do it. Back outside we go and dump the grain back in the hopper, this time when we hit the trigger it was quite apparent that this thing was ripping through the grain. I typically run it through twice, once at .050" and then again at .025". I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by the speed this mill chewed through my 20.5lb grain bill. It was easily under 10 minutes to run all the grain through twice. I don't think I'll be planning to upgrade grain mills any time soon. I wish I would have had this a long time ago, would have made so many brew days much much faster. If you need an inexpensive mill to do a very adequate job, this is the one to buy.

Excellent design and quality build
I can't commend this enough! Bought it to reduce chick crumble that was too big for my quail. Worked perfectly. Better than I imagined. Very high quality. When I saw the small holes in the hopper I imagined a fight. Having to drill new holes. Not so. Perfect alignment. I thought this must have been made in US. Nope, China. I am so used to crappy Chinese QC I couldn't believe it. Highly recommend!

Great for chicken / animal feed.
I have used this to grind milo (sorghum), wheat and oats. The handle works good, but I attached my 1/2 chuck drill to it and it holds up just fine. I don't think it is intended to be used this way but at least for me it works great. mill is adjustable and is very capable of getting dialed into what ever size grain you are trying to mill. I used this to make chicken feed, I know this is intended for brewers, but works for animal feed too. You will have to mount this to a sturdy platform and it does come with mounting hardware.

Flimsy and hard to crank at the correct setting unless you are he man! adaptor for electric drill does not work properly - there are no adaptor sockets. Poorly constructed! One star for prompt delivery - that's about it!

Works as described. We purchased it for crushing corn, for chicken feed, and it does a decent job. Worth the purchase, after looking at many other options, and other products. Pleased with this product.

J’entend beaucoup de personne se plaindre de leur moulin de basse qualité . Mais avec celui la , vous ne vous tromper pas , fonctionne super bien et rapide avec une perceuse. Bonne qualité et facile a assembler.
