Great and fun to assemble.

This LEGO train set was a huge hit with our granddaughter! She had so much fun building it and playing with it afterward. Great quality, easy-to-follow instructions, and lots of imaginative play—highly recommend.

The tram set is great. We got it for our 8 yr old for Christmas and by the end of the following day, he had assembled it all himself. Good quality. Would recommend.

One of my favorite sets!! Got a few pieces from pick a brick to make some mods but overall a really great public transit set! I think it is worth it for the money and super fun to put together!

My grandson is 5 years old (will be 6 in spring) and his parents introduced him to Legos. I asked my daughter for ideas of what to buy him for Christmas and she suggested three Legos sets. I looked at each and felt the streetcar looked great since he is very much into heavy vehicles that move, and we have quite a few streetcars and light rail trains in the Portland Oregon metro area. It is a pretty big kit with many pieces contained in 7 separate packages. My grandson was pretty excited, and we set about building the first (of two) streetcar sections. It took a few hours, and we had a great time putting it together. To be more accurate, my grandson did almost everything with some help sorting out pieces and slowing him down from time to time to look back at the excellent directions. He immediately started to use the completed first car rolling it around with a great deal of joy. My son in law and grandson spent the next day continuing to work on assembling the rest of the kit and have enjoyed it thoroughly. This kit is recommended for 7+ but if the child has been introduced to Legos, is mechanically inclined, loves trucks, trains and cars and has a willing adult to "assist" now and then I think it could be a big hit for slightly younger folks. I am thinking of perhaps buying another streetcar kit for my granddaughters who are 4 and 7 who have birthdays coming up in Spring. They have other Lego kits.

Bought this indoor our 6 year olds birthday, loves trains and legos. He put this thing together in about an hour and he just loves it.

I bought this set for my 10 year old nephew. He is having so much fun putting it together. It’s a big set for the price.

I may be biased since I have an affinity for public transportation and urbanism; but, I think Lego knocked it out of the park with this set; most notably the streetcar. Although the building techniques are not revolutionary, it comes together quickly and looks great. The mechanism to attach the cars together is great and easy to connect and disconnect as needed. Overall, a great build with a good result. It is also a nice touch for them to include a wider variety of mini figures; however, the design team should have put more though into the two platforms as it seems making them usable for the minifigure in a wheelchair was an afterthought. Regardless, for this price point, you get pretty good value; additionally, a few modification to the platform go a long way. I have got two of them now to build out a streetcar fleet, closer to retirement I may have to pick up another :)
