This is an excellent train set, perfect for setting up and running as-is, or customizing and building into a more elaborate display. Set-up is simple, with a number of nice options for track configuration. The smoke effect is just right, and the quality of sound effects is fine. NOTE: For those who complained that you can't turn the sound off... yes, you can! Just hold the horn button on the remote for a few seconds to toggle the sound on and off. The durability of this set is good, just about what you should expect for a model train consisting of (mostly) plastic material. The remote works well and maintains connection at a good distance. Overall, this is a great value for the money spent.

States it is a train set for kids. Took a little to understand the instructions. Beautiful set!

Train does not stay on the track. We spend more time putting it back on than playing with it so my son doesn't even like it anymore. Not worth the money. The train itself is really cool but the track is very cheap plastic.

It is a decent purchase it runs well, the tracks are bigger than expected which is great. There area few things thou that i think keeps me fron giving it 5 stars….for the price i thought the train was going to be off better material, its just plastic. Also The train comes off the tracks pretty often, specially when it turns so thats a bit annoying we have to keep fixing it. Another thing the smoke does not always work and it leaks. Other than that if we can keep it in the tracks it runs smoothly. To be honest I don’t think i would buy again.
